The Sunset Getaway - Hot Tub, Dog Friendly

My parents and nephew and niece loved staying here. The property had everything we needed. Hot tub was relaxing. It was very comfy.

I would have given this an excellent review, but there were a few things that kept us from five stars across the board.The first was, when we arrived, a man saying he worked for the same property management company was gonna cut down trees behind our cabin and be there for a few hours. After talking with him, he decided he would come back after we checked out in a couple days, but feel that should’ve come from the rental company and had that scheduled at a different time instead of putting us in that weird position. A couple other issues were that several cabins right next-door to us were doing construction from morning until the evening, and we were not made aware ahead of time. Kind of frustrating when you’re trying to relax. The cabin was not stocked with any washcloths for showers, or cleaning. It took a day to get them to us because the management company does not answer any messages after 5 PM. Cabinet is great. Great location. Loved the size, the deck in the hot tub. Overall, very good, a couple issues if they did not exist, would’ve made it a much better vacation spot for a couple days for my family and I unwind before school started.

Good location, easy walk to Carnelian Bay beach.

This cabin was in the perfect location. A short drive from kings beach and local shops. It felt like home, fully stocked with everything you need. The beds were comfy and the jacuzzi was a nice treat after a long day of exploring. We will definitely come back.

The Sunset Getaway gets everything right! The cabin is very cozy and the furniture and beds are so comfortable. The communication was excellent and check-in was a breeze. We walked in to a lovely fire going in the fireplace and everything was immaculate. The kitchen is well stocked. We loved the television set up...just hook up your computer and you are good to go. This is perhaps the best run property that I have ever stayed. We loved our time here.

We had a 3 night stay and it was such an easy check in process! Cabin was clean, had everything you’d need for the kitchen, and even toys around for my daughter to play with. Also, had really good communication with them. They even went out of their way to send a wedding binder back to us that we left behind. Super grateful. We really had a great experience and will definitely be back!
