Sleepy Hollow Beach Resort introduces A-Frame J

Great location. Beautiful views. Rustic charm.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great cabin. but smelled like a dead animal. Mouse poop in the foldout bed. kitchen door does not lock. On sight staff was very helpful. location was amazing. :)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A frame could use some updates. Electrical was sketchy,and twin bed matresses were not so comfortable. Location was great for the price of rental. We wereonly rental in complex on our last evening,made for a really quiet stay, plus we had the option of using front porch of adjoining rental which had an even better view of lake Michigan than our rental. There is a locked gate to enter property with a code pad. Our email instructions didn't come unti an hour before check-in, pulling up to gate I had no idea how to get into the property. Called property manager, and had to leave a message. While waiting for return call, I checked emails for instructions on on entering, and found them It was a bit concerning, but we did get in after about a 15 minute wait. While unloading, property manager showed up and apologized for the inconvenience. Overall it was a great stay, grounds were beautifully maintained, and you couldnt beat the location. Would definitely rent a different unit should we return.

I loved hearing the waves at night. A great way to fall asleep. The beach is narrow due to the storms which came through. All in all though, a great way to spend Labor Day.

I thought it was a bit pricey for being outdated so we may not stay again but LOVED it, just wish the price were lower given the amenities and lack of updates

We have rented it for many years, and are disappointed that the owners have not kept it up to healthy standards. There were mouse dropping in the kitchen cabinets, drawers and on the stove top. There was a live mouse on the bed upstairs. The toaster didn't work and the rocking chair is still broken. The staff did replace the toaster. I told the staff about the rocker last year. We were not given clean towels. I had to go get them myself. We love sleepy hollow, but at the price of 600.00 a night and the mice, I don't think we would rent J again. I had to sleep on the porch on lawn furniture because we couldn't catch the mouse. The second night, I stayed in a motel. I sure hope to get some refund for the mouse situation.
