Great stay.
Couldn’t be more impressed! Rodney’s hospitality was a delight. Perfect ski in/out location & enjoyed the wildlife. The three floor levels worked out great for our group of friends & children. Can’t wait to stay here again!
We had such a wonderful week staying at this property. Beautiful home, clean, well-stocked kitchen, and awesome location. Rodney is a very helpful and responsive property owner/manager. Would highly recommend!
We loved being close to the slopes and having everything we needed in the cabin. It was like home away from home with a fully stocked kitchen and very comfortable furnishings. We only wished we could have stayed longer. Having two sitting areas was perfect for our family and we loved the large dining room table for meals and games.
Great home in a great location. Property is easy to get to and has good access to the slopes. Very close to the Texas Flats run, which is not always open or groomed. Because of that, and the short walk, it may not be PERFECT for beginners... But if you are experienced and/or don't mind a short walk of 75 yards or so, the access to the slopes is very good.
We spent a restful four-day weekend at this wonderful mountain home. It was the perfect setting for a quiet getaway - exactly what we needed. Nestled among the aspens, the home is private (very low density and quiet neighborhood) and so comfortable. And the views are amazing. During the mornings the clouds would gather in the valley below and we would watch the sunrise above the clouds (think sunrise on Haleakala mountain). The owner, Rodney, was very prompt with our questions and the check in/out procedures were a snap. If you're looking for a beautiful mountain retreat, this is your home. We are already looking forward to our next trip.
The house was better in person than in pictures. The views are absolutely amazing! The kitchen is big and beautiful. Master bedroom was huge, the entire upstairs. Plenty of room throughout the house, with 4 bathrooms. The hot tub was awesome after skiing all day. Watching the sunset from the hot tub/ porch was amazing! The ski in/out walk to the slope was about 50 yards or so away. Rodney was great to communicate with about anything I needed to know. We will definitely try to stay here again!
The house is beautiful and very comfortable. We will be back.
Overall a great house, but the hot tub was broken in December. We were not made aware of this possibility until we arrived. Needless to say, adults and kiddos were pretty bummed upon arrival. A little communication from the owner that this was a possibility would've went a long ways. One of the main reasons we booked this place. If we knew there was a chance the hot tub wasn't available we would've looked elsewhere. No partial refund offered either. But enough negative because the place was beautiful, and we were just a missing piece away from the perfect vacation stay!
We loved our stay at your beautiful property. The extras you provided were much appreciated. The house is large enough for many more than just the two of us to be comfortable. The hot tub was perfect and I didn't miss an opportunity to be in it. The view was amazing! Watching the deer from the deck was fun and of course when driving back down the mountain in the morning they were everywhere. Things to know ahead of time for future renters: If you have never been to high elevation, you may have a hard time breathing for a couple of days at this house because it is way up the mountain. The televisions are run by Fire Stick so be prepared to use your Amazon account. And it takes a while to get the house warm because of the high ceilings so if you come in the winter, turn the heat and the fireplace on first! It has everything you need so don't bring anything but your clothes. No complaints here and we would rent it again. It was an anniversary trip to remember but we kept wishing we had our kids and grandkids with us. They would have loved it.
