Incredible Parklike setting with picnic area right by the Rushing Waters of the New River. This Lindal Cedar Home features a large Glass front to make sure you do not miss any of the mountain beauty that lies outside and is the ultimate Mountain Hideaway. Sit on the large deck and enjoy the views and sounds of the rushing New River, roast marshmallows in the firepit or grill out on the deck. Spacious Great room with fireplace. Main Bedroom upstairs with king bed has Jacuzzi Tub for two in the ensuite. Great for a family or friends!
Enjoyed this cozy cabin on beautiful riverfront lot. 15 minutes or so off the main road and would definitely want 4-wheel drive if visiting in winter. Walk out ground floor level is not included in the rental but plenty of space on main floor and in loft master suite. It is not a new property but is very clean and well maintained. Would definitely consider for a future visit.
4 night stay in early Nov 2021. Nice location on the South Fork of the New River in a quiet valley. Some might find this house challenging to find, but just follow the provided map directions and not Google to lead you to the house. This is an older Lindal Cedar Home that is nicely furnished. However, it is past time to replace the worn leather couches in the living room. Lighting is not great at night. The manager should make sure that burned out lights are replaced. We brought our own firewood for the fire pit and the fireplace. Access to Boone is fairly easy with Lowes Foods at the 421 intersection. Also, make sure to check out Booneshine Brewing for good food and beer. Lots of great nearby hikes with waterfalls. Overall, we had a nice stay.
This house was perfect for our families needs. It was spacious get provided plenty of together places. Beautiful location to relax and reconnect.
Other than it being dirty on the patio and we had to clean ourselves to sit down, and removed cobwebs from the deck and had to sweep when we first got there it was great!!!!
We enjoyed our stay at the chalet.
Thank you for allowing us to stay fathers day weekend. everyone enjoyed your home, especially the grandkids. The home was very clean and well stocked.
We had a great time here with our 2 small children. House was cozy and clean, beautiful yard and space to run and play outside. Kids loved the creek and the fire pit. The home is not totally secluded (neighboring homes within site), but it was quiet and off the beaten track. It was a relatively central location, about 15 minutes up and down the mountain and then within 5-10 minutes of downtown Boone, Blowing Rock, and Tweetsie Railroad. Overall had an easy and enjoyable trip!
The property was great, secluded and private, great scenery, great mountain experience. Will probably try and stay here again.
Our family and I have a wonderful time at this cabin. My 4-year old grandson had a blast in the sand by the river and the jacuzzi or as he called it the cuzzi. The cabin and it's setting are absolutely gorgeous. We would definitely stay here again. Penny Dudley
Beautiful house and stunning view of the river. I would highly recommend this house if you are interested in a quiet get-a-way with some friends or family. The house was clean and had everything we needed for the short time we were there. I just wish we would've had more time to enjoy the huge back yard and river. The only drawback to this house is finding it. I would highly recommend not trying to find this house at night and GPS navigation is not very reliable in this area. The driveway could use a little work at the entrance and on the right side of the house where the circle drive connects to the main drive. Otherwise, a terrific house.
