Queen of the Bay was the highlight of our trip to Portugal. The house was amazing and we enjoyed hours upon hours of sitting on the balcony overlooking the ocean. We could walk to so many restaurants, cafes, bars, stores, and were steps away from the beach and ocean. We had groceries delivered so we could relax and leave our car parked since the roads are narrow and parking is not super easy to come by. Would recommend unloading, finding a space and leaving it there for the duration of your stay if possible. Was lovely to have both indoor dining and two outdoor dining spaces. Having laundry was a big plus, as well as 3.5 baths and king size beds. Would highly recommend!

Queen of the Bay is a beautiful property right in the heart of Carvoeiro. The property is high spec and close to the beach and all local restaurants. We loved to sit on the balcony and listen to the music in the squarethe bar next door. However if you prefer quiet evenings this may not be the accommodation for you. The property is beautifully decorated. My only ask would be that one of the bedrooms had the option of two single beds rather than all doubles. Queen of the Bay is expensive compared to other accommodation in the area but the location makes up for it. We will definitely return!

A perfect central location in the Algarve, and in a perfectly walkable area of Carvoeiro. The view from the balcony is incredible and the beach and restaurants are just steps away. Thanks so much for being responsive and accommodating!

Our family of 5 loved staying here! The location was perfect for a quick gelato or hikes to the east or west. Any time I messaged the management company they were very helpful. While the price was higher than most rentals in the area, we felt that the view and location in town was worth the price - we loved it!

Queen of the Bay is an exceptional place to stay. The location is second to none, with uninterrupted views over Carvoiero beach and cliffs from the front terrace and roof top. The house is superbly designed, immaculately clean and very well equipped. We loved being able to relax, eat and drink in so many different settings in one place! We were very well looked after by Katherine, and will definitely be returning as soon as possible!

New, spacious property just steps from the beach. Tastefully decorated and clean. As other reviewers have mentioned, there are restaurants on both sides and in front of the property, but we didn't experience any noise issues (the caveat being we were there mid-week during shoulder season). The rooftop deck is a nice amenity, but they don't take advantage of the view with the low-slung seating. Other nits: (1) the lighting system is a massive fail. Even with instructions, which shouldn't be necessary to turn the lights on and off, it's a process of button mashing until you randomly get the right result; (2) either the dryer didn't work or we couldn't figure out how to make it work. They spared no expense on technology, which isn't always a good thing; (3) some issues with the management company not knowing the wif-fi password; (4) the beds are Euro King, which are more like a US Queen. Overall, though, very nice property and recommended.

Queen of the Bay was a wonderful surprise in Carvoeiro. It was the perfect location with lots to do right around us. Close to everything, including sightseeing and groceries. Katherine was so helpful and MaryAnna so friendly , both great to interact with . We really enjoyed our time there.

Warning, there is a club next door that blasts music til 230am. The home is brand new, very spacious, great appliances (that appear to be unable to run simultaneously) and steps from the beach with great indoor/outdoor dining options. It is a smart home so all the appliances, curtains, AIR CONDITIONERS are complex. We spent the weekend trying to figure it out and the property manager was unavailable during the weekend. They were very kind and responsive during business hours. Overall if you have concerns about noise and technology stay away but if you’re there to party definitely great.
