We spent the month of Aug. in this beautiful chalet. It's comfortable, clean & well supplied. The location is perfect --close to both Blue Mt. Village & Northwinds Beach. It is also a very quiet neighborhood. Geoff, the owner, was very professional in handling our rental agreement. We would highly recommend staying here.

My family (2 adults / 2 teenagers) rented this lovely home in the month of August, 2016. We had rented in the Blue Mountain area in previous years, but The Orchard location was by far our best stay to date! The setting of the Chalet is fabulous, situated in a quiet community with beautiful homes against the backdrop of the mountain, and a great walking path outlining the perimeter of the whole community. The pool and tennis courts are a convenient 5-minute walk from the Chalet (which you can join for a reasonable summer rate). As others have attested to, the Chalet itself is very spacious and modern, tastefully decorated and in very good condition overall. Its outfitted with more than enough supplies and amenities to make your stay seamless and lots of fun for the whole family (we especially enjoyed late evening ping-pong tournaments)! The access to the trails for hiking and cycling was a definite highlight of our stay, as well as access to great golf in the region which we took advantage of daily! The owner (Geoff) is a pleasure to deal with, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this home for enjoying either winter or summer vacations in the Blue Mountains.

My family and I rented the Chalet for the month of July and we had a great time there. The location is very convenient, a short walk to the beach and Blue Mountain village. The Georgian Bay area has a ton of activities to offer in the summertime and we really enjoyed our experience. Collingwood, Thornbury, Wasaga Beach are all short drives from the chalet. The chalet itself exceeded our expectations. It was very spacious, open concept, with gourmet kitchen, separate den and TV for the kids and 4 large bedrooms. Even the unfinished basement was very handy as our kids were down there playing ping pong and foosball constantly. The back patio and hot tub were a very nice way to end a long day of sight seeing and hiking. Geoff was great to deal with, very professional and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone who would like a to stay in a beautiful chalet style in a beautiful location.

My husband and I rented this chalet for the month of August. Geoff was really great to deal with from the get go. He arranged to let us check in the afternoon before our official 'start' date and was quick to respond with any questions that we had. The location is great - right beside a walking/bike path and minutes from the Georgian Trail which runs from Meaford to Collingwood. It is mid-way between Collingwood and Thornbury which makes getting to either place really convenient. As others have mentioned, it is spacious, clean and well appointed. It's close to Blue Mountain, the Scenic Caves and Northwinds Beach. Lots of fun things to do for kids and a great place to relax. A great place to spend some time during the summer months! Thanks Geoff and Cheryl!

My family and I just spent our July at this beautiful property. It was exceptionally clean and very close to the Village of Blue Mountain. We spent many days at the nearby beach, visited the scenic caves, played golf and enjoyed some quiet time. The ping pong and Foosball table were so much fun! With 4 bedrooms there was plenty of space for everyone. The owner was very accommodating and made our stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a vacation in the Collingwood area. You will not be disappointed!

Our family spent a wonderful month at this beautiful property - very modern, very up-market, comfortable and spacious. All 4 bedrooms are large, as are the two upstairs bathrooms. Huge great room with fireplace and large-screen home-theater system. The large, center kitchen island is extremely convenient, and all appliances and cookware are top-notch; everything you need for preparing meals. There's a second home-theater system in the front living room, with comfortable seating. We all enjoyed the huge hot tub and fantastic sunsets from the back deck. The property is a easy walk to Blue Mountain Village and close to everything by car, including shopping, golf courses, restaurants, beaches, etc. It was a great base from which to enjoy the wide range of recreational activities in the area. The complex's pool and tennis courts are a short walk from the chalet. The owner Geoff was extremely well organized and very accommodating when we had questions. For example, an intense thunderstorm knocked out the Wi-Fi router one night, and he arranged for us to pick-up another one (in nearby Collingwood) the next morning! We've stayed in a wide variety of Blue Mountain properties over the years, and this was by far the most luxurious and enjoyable we've experienced. I'd recommend it to anyone thinking about staying in the area!

My husband and I stayed the month of May 2014, and fell in love with the house and location. We live close by and we were pleasantly surprised to find out how many things Blue Mountain had to offer! The house was well kept, and when we experienced minor issues, Geoff was quick to respond and rectify the problem. Given the opportunity, we would gladly return and enjoy another month in this residence. The highlights included the kitchen area (fantastic room to socialize in), walking trails at our doorstep, the beach nearby, and the quick bikeride or drive to the village. Thanks again for offering your wonderful home! Leanne

First of all, the house was spectacular! We had such a wonderful stay because it was very spacious and accommodated all of us there. It was very clean and it had a wonderfully large kitchen island which made for a very social atmosphere. It was very close to all amenities and very close to the Scandinave spa which we took full advantage of. At night, the blue mountain village is a 2 min drive away and we spent a couple of nights at the bars in the village, it's was an amazing time. Thank you for having us and we look forward to spending time here next year. Chris and Kate

We live on an island, in the caribbean, and we were looking for some peace and cool. What we endend up with exceeded our expactations, and by far! The house is so comfortable, the kitchen invites you for long hours of gourmet cooking, the beds... Try them you'll understand why we slept the way we did...The lac and bluemoutains village, 3 minutes drive, has all that is needed for youngster and adults. I recommand this house for anyone who is looking for a luxury vacation. Thanks Geoff, we will be back!

My family and I had such an outstanding vacation staying at this Chalet. The online photos represented the chalet extremely well, but we were pleasantly surprised by how great the Chalet was in person. The kitchen was stocked so well with plenty of cutlery, dishes, glasses, mugs, utensils, all of the essentials to make our stay easy and enjoyable. The Chalet was extremely clean and comfortable with sufficient seating, a great home entertainment system and was spacious. We found the close proximate to the beach and village very convenient. The owner was very easy and upfront to deal with and we would definately recommend him and his chalet to everyone. Thank you for the use of your beautiful chalet and the beautiful memories we had during our stay. 10+++ experience and we hope to come back again next year.
