Perfect location for skiing

Third year staying here and we love it more every year. Perfectly stocked, gorgeous and warm and cozy, and owners are remarkably attentive to your comfort and safety. We'll be back again next year.

Northern Enclosure is a wonderful cabin in the woods. It was immaculately clean, so comfortable and well appointed. The hosts were really nice and easy to reach. We had a lovely stay.

This was a really great property. You can't beat the location for easy access to Nubs and Boyne Highlands. The kitchen was well stocked and inventoried. There were more than enough beds for our group of 6 adults and 1 toddler. Some members of the group thought their mattresses could stand to be replaced. I slept well on the ground floor queen bed. We liked having common areas on both the ground and basement levels.

This home was perfect for our family. Comfortable and clean it’s just around the block from Teddy Griffin’s. The kitchen is very well equipped for meal prep. We’d definitely stay here again.

Perfect spot for our ski weekend trip with family and friends. Having fire wood readily available made things really easy, we loved staying here.

We enjoyed our stay at the Northern Enclosure Lodge. It had everything that we needed for a beautiful fall trip to Michigan. Chris and Bill were VERY helpful with suggestions of local places to shop, eat, and sightsee. Loved coming home after days of sightseeing, trail walking, beach walking, shopping, and eating to put on comfy clothes and lighting the fireplace. That was our favorite part of the lodge. Soooo relaxing. We went to Tunnel of Trees, Mushroom Houses in Charleviox - fun, Pond Hill Farm, Mackinac Island, Thorne Swift Nature Preserve, New Beginnings Thrift Shop, Petoskey Brewing, State Road Provisions Restaurant, Great Turtle Brewery & Distillery on the Island. We would suggest this rental for people heading to the Harbor Springs location. Taking our own bedding, and towels was absolutely no problem for us. We appreciated the washer and dryer and used it for a couple of loads of bedding. Thanks for providing that.

This chalet is a gem. Great location. Dining nearby. Convenience store around the corner. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Kitchen is well-stocked. Harbor Springs and Petoskey just a short drive away. Everything you could want for a getaway.

We had a wonderful time staying at Northern Enclosure. We came to the area for a book event, and didn't have much time for anything else. The lodge was clean, organized, and super cute!

It served our needs for a family gathering. Nice setting.Wished we didn't have to supply our own linens. Also no overhead lighting in bedrooms was hard

Bill and Chris, The cottage is perfectly equipped and lacks nothing. l slept great for the first time in forever. We loved The Northern Enclosure and would love to come back there one day, The location was extremely convenient and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. A perfect home away from home!

This was our second time at the property and had no problems. Communication from owner was good and the property was as advertised. Good chance we'll be back.

Cute little cabin, not too far from Petoskey. Was perfect for our family of 4 but could comfortably accommodate more! Clean and Chris was responsive and helpful! Bringing our own sheets and towels was a different of an experience for a VRBO but it worked out just fine.
