Madams Hill House Killarney

Good size for 8 adults. Quiet location. Close to town and National Park. Nice kitchen facilties. Ceiling stained in kitchen from previous water leak. We had trouble with the heat, particularly upstairs. Towels and linens could be updated.

Spent a fantastic week at Madam's Hill in Killarney. My daughter and her boyfriend stayed also as well as our family dog. There was plenty of room for everyone and the location was close to everything! We could walk to Lidle, a garage, chemist etc as well as a hotel. There was a bar at the top of the hill in Old Killarney Village which was in walking distance. Lovely views of the mountains so it was a pleasure to walk the dog everyday. Lots of room in the garden for the dog but we always had her on a lead as there is no fence or gate. There was everything you could think of in the house so it really was like a home away from home. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Madam's Hill for a holiday especially with your dog as there was lots of lovely walks around the area. Derry the manager was quick to reply with any questions I had & left lots of information leaflets in the drawer of local attractions and restaurants which was extremely helpful. Hope to visit again very soon!

Not our first stay at Madams Hill. Has all you want for a family holiday. Tons of space and really well equipped house. Super location, close to everything.

Large property with more than enough room for our family. We had an issue with the washing machine but Derry worked with us to resolve.

The accommodation met our needs. The standard of service from Derry, the property manager, was very good. The place was clean and tidy. Great location and value for money. The only negative issue was only being able to use one shower at a time.

Was so delighted the owner had just put in wifi and it worked fine when we didn’t think we would have it. The owner was very helpful with any questions about the heating and the pilot light went out in the wind solved immediatly. The location was 15 minutes walking to Killarney and 3 min drive but out of town and off main road so quiet. 15 min drive from Kerry airport. In the heart of the ring of Kerry. Wouldn’t hesitate to go again great for families or adapts only Loved it Marianne Get sky or Netflix more tv channels :)

Overall, our stay was good. Upon arrival we contacted our host about two concerns that were dealt with quickly and satisfactorily. The location was great; a 7 minute drive to College St. in downtown Killarney. The only issue was the heat in the house which was way too hot. Although we tried to adjust it, it made sleeping difficult.

Took a few minutes to find the key lockbox as it is around the opposite side of the porch. Easy entry after that. House cold on arrival but found instructions and got boiler started. Good space inside and very good kitchen/diner. Bedrooms spacious Showers are a slight problem. Two electric but can only have one switched in at a time.

We had everything in the house and lots of space for 4 of us. When we needed help for hot water etc the issue was handled immediately by phone call and instructions. We had an issue showering in the same time with the electric shower. It was important to us as we were hiking everyday and needed to be quick. Otherwise it was all good.

Spacious and modern house, walking distance to the town, fully equipped with all the appliances, detergents, books and toys to make your stay very comfortable. Nothing. We didn't want for anything!
