Stayed Mar 31, 2026We really enjoyed our stay at the Lucerne Chalet. The location was perfect - peaceful and quiet with a gorgeous view of the sunrise through the treetops, yet just a quick 5 min drive or 20 min walk into town. The house was fully furnished and very clean. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch. We brought our 13 yo lab, and it was great to be able to take him out for walks in the area. Darlene gave great check-in instructions and was easily accessible for occasional questions. We would stay again!

Stayed Feb 18, 2026The location and the house were perfect. Beds are super comfortable and we appreciated the good dishes, pots & pans, and the supply of TP and paper towels to get us started. We look forward to booking here next year for our annual Asheville trip. Also, the advice of arriving in the daytime to navigate the long, narrow, winding driveway is not to be taken lightly! ;)

Stayed Dec 19, 2025This is one of our favorite places to stay when we come to Asheville. It is very private, feels like you are in a tree house yet it is right off Tunnel Road and the Freeway near downtown Asheville. An Ingles and Starbucks is just down the hill only 10 minutes away. Lyft had no trouble finding us even though we initially got lost when we first checked in. The house is only 20 minutes from Biltmore Estate. The house is immaculate. There are two nice sized bedrooms, with very firm mattresses. One bedroom has a small closet sized half bath with a sink and toilet. There is one full bathroom with a great shower. The kitchen is completely stocked. You can basically cook anything you want to as it has everything you could need for cooking a full meal. We didn't cook at all but it was nice that it is available. The layout is open concept, with a nice sized dining table and a great couch and smart TV.The host is a great communicator, when we texted her we always got a reply within minutes.

Stayed Dec 12, 2025Really enjoyed the Chalet. Just a few minor issues . We drove our F 150 up there and it got scratched up a lot with all the low hanging branches. Hard to sleep on your orthopedic mattresses.

Stayed Oct 31, 2025We had an absolutely wonderful time at our stay in Asheville. So convenient to downtown, Uber drivers super helpful and quick to get us where we needed to go. The facilities are wonderful. The home is spread out with ease of access to everything in the kitchen and anything we could’ve needed was there for us. So beautiful and peaceful in the evenings and mornings, gorgeous scenery!! The hosts Darlene and Ron are super amazing people and so responsive. And of course, downtown Asheville never disappoints with amazing shopping and food. Can’t wait to go back!

Stayed Aug 9, 2025Stayed in this unit for 2 weeks and loved the unit and location. Very convenient to downtown and to the interstates. Very nice tree top setting. Once we navigated the winding roads, it was a non-issue.

Stayed Jul 15, 2025The chalet was in a great location for getting around Asheville! The road is a bit tricky the first time getting to the chalet, but once you know which turns to make, a piece of cake! Sitting out on the porch at night and in the morning was very relaxing and a great way to start and end the day!

Stayed Mar 25, 2025A little glitch with the entry code… didn’t receive any notice of how to avoid getting locked out if you didn’t set the keypad yk unlock. Other than that our stay was just fine. Nice chalet with nice views of the sunrise coming over the mountains in the morning. Good job!

Stayed Mar 12, 2025We thoroughly enjoyed this place! It is located on a mountain around other chalets, and it feels woodsy, yet, everything in Asheville is minutes away. I was involved in a conference at the downtown Embassy Suites and was there every morning in 10 minutes or less. Likewise the party places around Asheville were all minutes away. The house is well-equipped and the manager was readily accessible. Great place!

Stayed Aug 15, 2024This house was cozy and comfortable. Great for our family of four. Convenient to downtown. Though if you have a big truck, bike rack and 4 bikes the driveway/neighborhood is a little difficult to navigate (doable but difficult). :)

Stayed Jul 18, 2024This is a wonderful place to stay. I've stayed in a lot of rentals and this one is very well-thought out and mindful. If I had a need (a certain kind of pot, an extra towel, a blanket...) I just had to look around to find it. You can tell the owners care about their guests. We enjoyed our stay so much and we're grateful for all the care that went into the place.
