Lovesick Blues was built by the wife of the late Hank Williams Sr. This cabin is nestled away in the mountain above Gatlinburg. The musical notes of the famous song Lovesick Blues written by Hank Williams, Sr. himself elegantly surround the cabin's deck as the railing that wraps three sides of the cabin in harmony. Relax away with privacy fencing tucked away on the back deck while listening to the nearby creek.

We invite our guests to enjoy the Owner's Club during the summer. Thereis access to a swimming pool, ping pong, foos ball, tennis, slide for kids, playground, exercise room and a pool table in the clubhouse. The clubhouse is open for the season on Memorial Day weekend and closed for the season on Labor Day weekend. The clubhouse is closed on Tuesdays for maintenance each week.

Inside you will find some of the original memorabilia such as an autographed album, guitar and pictures. There is a fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker, dishwasher, microwave, and toaster and the cabin has a table with four chairs for those sit down meals.

The living area has a comfortable sofa, loveseat and chair with ottoman, wood burning fireplace, flat screen tv and stereo with CD. For those inclined to make there own entertainment there is also a piano tucked away for your enjoyment along with a slew of board games, high speed wireless internet (wifi). We also offer free long distance.

The bedroom on the main floor has a king size bed, dresser, closet, alarm clock, TV (no cable but is a smart TV so you can stream your favorite shows). Across from the bedroom is a full bath with a shower tub.

Upstairs there is a cozy loft area that has a twin bed and the original barrel chair that Ms. Williams once decorated the house with. A great place to just sit and enjoy all the history this cabin holds. There is also a second enclosed bedroom with a king size bed, dresser, TV (no cable but is a smart tv so you can stream your favorite shows) and a full bath with a standup shower.

Accept our invitation. You won't be disappointed! This beautiful, Non-Smoking chalet is sure to please. Our chalet is located in Chalet Village right off of Ski Mountain Road. It is conveniently located only 2 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and less than 500 yards to Ober Gatlinburg where you can enjoy ice skating, skiing, water parks, alpine slide, tram to downtown Gatlinburg, bear habitat, restaurants and much more.

We always keep our calendar up to date so please be sure to check out an available date for your vacation. During the winter season when snow and ice are involved on the roads, 4 wheel drive or chains may be necessary on some days.

I enjoyed the area, which was beautiful. The cabin is remote but still a few minutes from dining and shopping. It is a unique cabin and had everything we needed.

The Lovesick Blues cabin was great! Very quiet and homey, and we even got to see a momma bear and her two cubs one evening. Close to Gatlinburg but far enough away from the hustle and bustle for relaxation. There is not a ramp for individuals in wheelchairs but there are not that many stairs leading up to the deck. The property owner was prompt to answer questions and extremely pleasant. We definitely recommend staying here!!

Overall good experience- very cute cabin and good location-and I say this with all the respect and hope that it can be used to bring in more repeat quests- housekeeping could use some work. LOTS of dust, dryer lint was left on table in downstairs bedroom vent upon check in, the upstairs bathroom is covered in layers of dust, that accompanied with checkout instructions to put everything back the way it was left us questioning if it is indeed cleaned between guests.

We had a nice weekend at this house. Lighting and TV need update. Not much provided, so bring your own cooking oil spices, K-Cups, bath soap, etc. Beds were okay. Wood stove kept the place warm, but bring your own wood. Heater also works but we loved the wood stove.

Short drive to downtown! Loved the house. Had bears around the house- never saw them but heard one run down the deck one night. Neighbor said mother and multiple cubs walked dow the road past the house and in front of the house early mornings and late afternoons. Great location and absolutely beautiful view of mountains just minutes from the house driving towards town.

This cabin was very clean, comfortable and.. interesting! The memorabilia left you with a connection to the past and feeling like you knew the owner. We had a momma bear & 2 cubs come by every morning and every evening. The first time we saw the momma, it was literally just 4 ft away, on the other side of the kitchen window. Understand, this is a rustic, older cabin. It isn’t the Ritz; if you want that, go elsewhere. But if you want a cabin that is clean, comfortable, interesting, and with a helpful owner with good communication habits, this cabin is a good value.

It’s okay, we loved that I was close to town and we loved the Hank Williams theme!!! It could use a could deep clean. The floor upstairs is slanted and makes you slide off the bed.

Overall this cabin met our expectations. We stayed the week of July 4th, 2025. Monica was a helpful host and responded quickly to questions and needs. We had a couple of issues but nothing that significantly impacted our stay. I would say if you are looking for a rustic cabin experience this is for you. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils, cookware and all appliances worked well. Over all the cabin could use a good dusting of fixtures but was otherwise very clean. The foundation is not level and was a bit concerning at first as there is noticeable slant to the floor. It was a great place with a nostalgic feel and a flair for country music. Location was easy to get to and handy to go to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg or into the National park.

The cabin was clean and welcoming when we arrived. Comfortable furniture and comfortable beds. All of the memorabilia was really cool to take in. The location in Chalet Village is just minutes from downtown and the park. Our family thanks you for having us. Such a great time and no shortage of bear sightings!

The home nostalgia was wonderful. The home could use a deep cleaning. The age of the house was a challenge because of it leaning. I have vertigo and it was challenging to walk at times.hoyse

Our large family of 6 (mom&dad kids: 20, 13,7&7) booked spur of the moment with hopes of enjoying the snow that was predicted. We arrived late Thursday with groceries in tow. The kids slept upstairs and had plenty of room with the King and twin bed. They also enjoyed their own bathroom. My husband and I had a super comfy king size bed downstairs as well. All the linens were nice and clean and plenty of extra blankets for this super cold snap. There was a bathroom across the hall from this room as well. The living room was super cozy with plenty of room for all of us. We really enjoyed the fireplace too! The kitchen was great! Large clean fridge, all the dishes, pots, pans, cooking tools needed. We ate there for every meal except 1. Our first day we went skiing at Ober which was less than a mile a way and very convenient. Great location to the main strip as well. My favorite was sitting on the side porch drinking coffee and watching it snow. We had a great time and will definitely be back. The Hank Williams memorabilia was extremely special as well as some of the beautiful antique furniture. I would definitely recommend this cabin and we will be back soon!

My wife and I just had an enjoyable 3 nights stay at the Hank Williams chalet. The location was just outside of the main drag in gatlinburg and very easy to get to. Six minutes and you're in the smoky mountain national park.
