Stayed Aug 21, 2025We had a lovely time at this charming cabin nestled on the hillside in the woods. Nicely appointed and decorated, comfortable. Kathy texted us to make sure everything was perfect, which it was. We highly recommend taking the tram up to the Alyeska resort for an amazing view of Turnagain Arm!

Stayed Aug 12, 2025Our stay in Girdwood was excellent. Kathy was a great host. Welcoming and quickly responsive. Only thing to be aware of is the only bathroom is downstairs and the bedroom on that level is just a double bed. The upstairs bedroom has steep wooden creaky steps so going up and down in the middle of the night may not be an option for some. The third level has an awesome “treehouse” sitting area which is really wonderful! Overall we were comfortable and recommend staying here.

Stayed Aug 5, 2025The space was great, easy check-in and check out, and awesome shower! Owner was very responsive to questions. Girdwood is a super community and a great spot between Anchorage and Seward.

Stayed Jul 7, 2025We didn't want to leave! This chalet was perfect and a great location in Girdwood. Space to spread out as a family but still have common areas to join. I loved the treehouse nook upstairs. Communication with the host was excellent, and the beds were the most comfortable of our whole trip.
