Cabin was not very clean. But the worst thing is the beds were so old they squeaked so load if you moved it woke you up and very uncomfortable. Dishes was in the dishwasher. Fireplace didn’t work. Advertised jacuzzi that was cabled shut. Opened the couches into beds and they were gross had to vacuum and clean them before anyone could sleep in them. We did call the office because h ill was out of gas and they did send someone quickly.

Very close to the main strip but definitely secluded, giving the mountain cabin vibe. Place was very clean. Some improvements would be nice (leaks in shower ceiling, finish painting deck, etc.) but would not be dealbreakers.I'd rent this chalet again.

I love the location was very quiet and close to everything. The only downside were the beds. Mattresses could use replacing. The beds were very uncomfortable besides that everything was wonderful!

We are a family of 5 and the cabin was very big for our family with 3 levels of space. The couch even pulls out into a bed as well. The cabin was very clean and the kids enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. We could never figure out how to work the TV in the movie theater room so that was a bummer but overall the stay was great. I would recommend to large families to bring some extra plates, cups, and silverware because there was not a lot there and there was not a lot of cooking supplies such as a large skillet since there was only small skillets there. There was also not any cleaning supplies other than dish soap and dishwasher detergent. The view was very pretty and the location was really close to everything in pigeon forge. You can see the Ferris wheel from our cabin.

My wife and I rented this house to spend a weekend with my son and his fiancé to celebrate his birthday. From the pictures, the house looked very remote. It is not. It is very close to the Parkway, and because a car show was in town, we heard a lot of noise. The interior of the house was very nice and met our needs. We did struggle to get the downstairs TV that is part of the home theatre to connect to the internet. The hot tub was enjoyed by all. And we had a peacock come and visit the house several times.

We left a night earlier. My daughter was being bit by fleas and not from my dogs who were just at the vet prior . Upstairs bedroom had dog hair and dust all under the bed . The floors on the main floor had to be never cleaned considered I spilled something and used cleaner and a paper towel and it was black upon clean up. Grossed out by that I sprayed another spot and whipped it and my towel was very dirty again.Toilet on main floor ran for long period of time , so I shut it off at one point ! Refrigerator was very noisy also .

The pros were: The cabin is in a great location, very convenient to the island and Skyliner diner, and other things that we visited, including Dollywood and Parrot Mtn. It was also pet friendly, which is sometimes hard to find. The cons were: The cabin definitely needs new mattresses and pillows. They were very uncomfortable. It also needs new pots and pans. Most of the Teflon is scraped off of the skillet so we ended up going out to buy our own so we could cook. We also couldn't get the TV in the theater room to connect to anything. The fireside chalet staff was very responsive anytime we called with a question, and they tried to be helpful.

The subdivision was nice, close to the main parkway & easy to get to. Now to the issues. 1) The BEDS! The beds were AWFUL. The mattresses were SO loud that we could hear when someone got in the bed or turned over from the upstairs & vice versa. Definitely not comfortable or relaxing. The linens were clean but felt like cardboard. The extra blankets for the beds were dirty and had an odor. 2) The cabin was filthy. The porches were dirty and covered in leaves. The dishwasher was full of dishes. We called to complain & the office sent a cleaning crew back out. They did clean the floors but there was still dust everywhere. 3) The washing machine did not work. I put the above mentioned dirty blankets in the washing machine & it filled with water & wouldn’t do anything else. We had to call & they sent someone to look at it but it wasn’t working for the duration of our trip. Due to the washing machine not draining it was full of stinky, dirty water that caused an odor. The washing machine was between the main floor bedroom & bathroom so we had to deal with the stench for 5 more days . 4) The hot tub wasn’t working when we arrived. We had to call & they sent someone out to fix it. 5) There wasn’t sufficient space for everyone to sit in the living room. 6) The furniture in this cabin was in horrible condition. 7) Check in was at 4:00 but the cabin wasn’t ready. We were finally called around 5:30 to check in. When we called the office the staff (Robin) was very helpful & kind.
