We celebrated a birthday in this house. We liked everything very much, it was clean, warm, there were all the necessary dishes, a jacuzzi top. It was my best birthday. It's good that the owner said about the SUV in the description because without it it would really be very difficult there. And take more water with you. The owner was always in touch and politely answered our questions. I recommend!

Enjoyed the property, kitchen had plenty of appliances & accessories. Would definitely stay there again. However, the driveway was quite icy, could use some sand or salt.

Comfy little house with all amenities for nice time off. The scenerary is nice, neighbours are quiet, lac and kayaks enyoyable. All perfect. A1

We stayed 10 days at chalet l'Ecureuil including Christmas and New Eve. We really enjoyed our stay here. Two things that require some improvments: - a warning in the description concerning the access by car when it is snowing: at least mentioned that the access is easier to the chalet driving around the lake always clockwise (turn left when you arrive to the lake, an turn right when you leave the chalet). 4x4 car recommended - missing wardrobes in the two main rooms. Except these two warnings, the rest is perfect

Ups : The interior and exterior are nice. The area is beautiful and secluded. Surrounded by nature. We even saw wild turkeys. Downs: The trail to get there is not easy unless you have a 4x4. Lots of slopes and turning on a bumps road full of big rocks. The tap/shower water smells horrible and definitely contains rust. The bathroom sink, toilet and bath tub were dirty and brown from all the rust in the water. There is a camera that appears to be watching the hot tub that we didn’t know about which is something we really didn’t like. Supplies were low, one roll of Scott towel, no Kleenex anywhere ( we would have brought ours with pleasure if we knew ).

Well, the beds are really rough. The road to go there is hellish. No asphalt and big rocks. There is no fish in the lake. This place was not for me.

    1. Owner never mentioned that the water was not safe for drinking. We were instead given two enormous jugs that are typically used for water-coolers (but there were no water coolers on the property). Getting water out of those was quite an arm workout and started getting annoying. 2. Because the service is so poor there, it took almost a whole day to figure out the wifi situation (since it was not initially anywhere in the property).
