Stayed Feb 22, 2019Cabin 22 was remote because of recent heavy snowfall making it that much more amazing. Beautiful place, kitchen was amazing, fireplace cozy, beds comfy, staff friendly and informative. Loved our trip. Thanks.

Stayed Jan 17, 2019Had a great experience at Chalet 22. Very secluded and dog friendly. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the ski in / ski out in the listing. Its more of a walk. But overall i would recommend this property.

Stayed Feb 24, 2018My grown son, who loves snowboarding, wanted to show his parents, sisters, nieces, and nephew why he doesn't mind routinely making a 5 hour drive from LA to Mammoth to snowboard. So we rented this cabin for 4 days for our annual family vacation specifically because it was ski in and ski out, and we weren't sure how the young ones (5, 7, and 9) and the older ones (56 and 63) would do in the snow. We chose wisely! This property was exactly what was needed so we never had to walk with gear to a shuttle stop , find parking, or spend unwanted hours in a bar with young kids waiting for the rest of the rest of the party to finish. Those who were tired or hungry simply skied home. Those who could get ready early in the morning, skied down to the lifts and got an early start on the day. FYI, the lessons for kids were worth every cent. They were unstoppable after the 2 hour class. We packed all of our food, drink, gear, and clothes into our cars and arrived in 15º weather with snow starting to fall. Within 10 minutes, it was all packed into their Snowcat and taken right from our cars to the porch of our cabin. Inside, we found a warm, remarkably clean, and well-appointed updated cabin that looked just like the photos. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms well-stocked with shampoos and soaps, and a kitchen with plenty of cookware and dishes. The entertainment included cable TV in the living room, a game console, a vcr, movies, more firewood than you could burn, and plenty of board games and puzzles to choose from. I am not sure when it happened, but our deck was cleared of snow and the trash was picked up by management. I was called 2 times to be sure that I didn't have any questions and to see if we needed anything. So thoughtful! If you are cooking, bring your spices, oils, and such. If you like music, bring your speaker. We were in cabin #22 which is in the back. We loved it, but if you truly want to ski all the way to your front door, then you will want to book just a little closer to the runs. Be sure to work with Debbie. She can answer any question you have and also make sure that your trip goes as smoothly as possible. This house will not disappoint. If you want a place that is nice and homey and you look forward to snoozing on a comfortable couch in front of the fire...book it.

Stayed Jan 8, 2016On arrival kelli was very nice and with a super attitude. I been to the challets before but really did not pay much attention to the staff as u was over welmed with the snow. The cabins are super and very clean, dan stop by to pick up trash and refill toilet paper. I want to go back but they are so book. 6 stars for customer service and friendliness.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This chalet was perfect for our group of nine. It was very roomy, yet quite cozy. The kitchen was amazing, very roomy and looked right out into the family room. The layout was open and made it enjoyable for everyone to cook, play games and relax. And the beds were SO comfortable! Absolutely loved the location, right next to the Main Lodge and gondola. Surrounded by pine trees, it was very peaceful and serene. We were there in the summer and my husband was in heaven being able to ride his mountain bike down from the chalet and right up to the lifts where he enjoyed miles of trails. And Jim and Kelli, the managers, were THE BEST! They were so welcoming and friendly, we felt like they were old friends. This is the perfect place to stay and we can't wait to come back!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This unit is well furnished, very clean and recently remodeled. Very spacious for two families. Location is tough to beat. It is a long walk for young kids to the lifts, but doable. The location of this unit on the property makes it very quiet and peaceful. Would definitely come back.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The listing for this location is spot--on, yet still doesn't do it enough justice! The photos perfectly capture the chalet, but can't convey the beauty of the location, and what a peaceful, easy feeling the chalet has. Best part, is you can be totally relaxed yet be skiing in moments with the easy slope access. There was plenty of room for all of us to cook dinner, eat, and enjoy games and the fireplace without ever feeling cramped. The renovations are beautiful, yet the chalet has old school charm. I can't wait to come back and visit the chalet in the summer!
