First impressions were that the outside of the property could do with some tlc. When we entered there was a strong sour smell like a dirty mop or a wet dog. The living seemed comfy enough and we liked the suite. The television was an “experience” in itself. The kitchen was well equipped and plenty of clean cutlery and dishes. It had a nice small dining area. The bathroom radiators were very rusty and there was a lot of mould on the silicon sealant around the shower/bath. The showers themselves were very good and powerful. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were clean. The site itself was excellent and the facilities includin* the onsite bar was great.
The property had no ventilation so the heat upstairs was so oppressive we couldn't sleep upstairs in the 2 beds
Nicely decorated and not overdone. But this is a chalet and not a hotel and expedia makes it appear llke a proper hotel. It is situated in a caravan park which is fine, but then the cost per night should be much lower. Definitely not good value for money.
Cozy and comfortable. The main bedroom was small but space was used very efficiently, and that allowed for more space in the living room and dining area, which was great. Also has a remarkably tiny bedroom which provides some much-needed storage space. Includes a great deck which would be fantastic in nice weather. Not great connectivity--would not recommend the very weak paid wi-fi, and my phone signal was wasn't much--but it's adequate for minimal uses. Great location for many nice walks, hosts were great about answering questions.
Lodge was spotless. Very modern and fresh decor and felt very homely.
Very nice location, close to food, shopping, restaurants, yet is in a very quiet location close to a river and beautiful scenery. Loved it!!
Loved the location of the property, we were really happy with the surrounding area, i had to contact the owner regarding a small issue and they were really quick to get back to us, overall we'll definitely be back .
10/10 very clean lovely park close to all Amenities, would definitely return
Perfect base to explore Aviemore and surrounding areas, close to ammenties.
We enjoyed our stay. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. Holiday park was very neat and tidy. Had a lovely meal at pub on site.
This is a very cute and comfy but small trailer in with 90+ other trailers. It is located in a beautiful resort town. We just didn’t understand the terminology of “chalet” and had different expectations. Nice visit. We’d like to come back.
Very clean and had all necessary items for cooking and our comfort. Helpful in allowing early check in!!
Property was fine but the heating wasn't working when we arrived and it's clear it had not been on for a long time. The water pressure was low on the boiler and I had to sort it myself as the local contact did not know how to. Also the television did not work. Fortunately we only stayed one night.
Good, however fir tge price certain things need fixed
My husband and I stayed here a couple nights as we traveled around Scotland. GREAT location - quick access to everything without being in a congested area. Well equipped for everything we needed (could use a spatula). Only cons was I'm ridiculously afraid of spiders - and we found several spiders in the master shower coming from the shower faucet - like most places - the shower needs recaulked. Bed was listed as king size - I believe there is some variation in size between american/uk - and I didn't measure - but it seemed like a queen size bed to me. Overall - an amazing stay - we would definitely stay again.
We enjoyed our stay, the place was just what was advertised. The only request would be hand towels for the bathroom and kitchen. Otherwise it was great.
Great ? would 100% recommend and stay again
TV didnt work to watch and was not fixed to watch commonwealth games Mould in the bathroom limited utensils in kitchen (egg flip, tongs) Plastic tablecloth
Great location , clean and comfortable accommodation. Within walking distance of main Street .
The location was great and the accommodations were perfect
Location is easy to get to and away from urban areas. Still there are good services nearby. Will definitely consider for a multiple day stay for future trips to the area.
Needs hand towels, kitchen towels, spatulas, hand soap. There was mold growing in the shower, inside the fixed panel in the small bathroom. No washer/dryer available. Otherwise, clean and cozy.
Property was a lovely little lodge, park is well kept and in a lovely setting, just a walk away from Aviemore.
Close to town center and trains. Good location to walk to hiking venues/ transportation. Nice home, clean. Vistas of Cairngorms from home. Perfect weather!
Single beds in second bedroom tiny but otherwise a lovely property.
Nice comfortable,, clean and cosy… good shower.. maybe a slightly later check out.. but not sure if that was an option.. but definitely would stay again…
The lodge was much as expected albeit closer to neighbouring ones than anticipated. Almost all you would need for a short break was in the lodge but several missing items- primarily towels- were missing with the reason given being ‘covid related’. Given that we no longer have restrictions this surprised me. In fairness the owner did put in a hair dryer and advised towels would be available from next week. Why the delay? Finally, whilst wifi is not directly provided by the owners, we were informed a supply was available at the campsite for £2.50 per day. It did not work at all during our booking.
The static caravan was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We had a great weekend in Aviemore and the place was spotless.
