My family and I throughly enjoyed our stay here! The location is beautiful. We had a wonderful white christmas right next to an icy river. The host was such and angel and very accommodating! From an early check in request to insuring we got plowed out of the snow in time to make our next destination, He took care of us. We we definitely be returning here in the future.

The kitchen is so good and clean

My family loved our stay at this house. It's essentially in the woods, with a small creek right at the backyard. The owner was responsive and accommodating to our requests, which made our stay completely non-hassle. He set up the wood in the firepit, such that we just had to light it up to start the fire. The house offers all basic conveniences, including smart TVs and Wifi. It has an overall rustic/dated feel to it, which we didn't mind, because we were there for the nature aspect. The kids loved the outdoors, especially the creek; playing the board games and the pool (under supervision). One thing I would mention is that when you enter the house, you're on the ground floor, which has a pool table, smart TV, a full bathroom, and two small bedrooms — with one and two beds respectively. The main living area is upstairs, with a large living room, kitchen, bathroom, and one large bedroom. So our family of 4 had to split between the floors during sleep, as we didn't want to leave the kids alone downstairs for the night. But again, such mild inconveniences didn't matter much to us. Overall, we would definitely come again.

We enjoyed our stay at the rustic, quiet Bushkill Falls chalet. We enjoyed the sound of the creek even though the water was low this time of year. The guys were a little disappointed they didn't see any trout, but learned spring would be better time for trout fishing. The host was very accessible and helpful with questions.

Really enjoyed reconnecting with the family at the outdoor fire pit!

It’s more of a hunting lodge than a vacation getaway. Place was very musty smelling, spiders everywhere and their webs. Very disappointing,

Everything is as advertised, the area was beautiful with enough things to do in the immediate area. The rooms/house were clean and stocked with everything needed and the creek in the back was wonderful to wake up and enjoy breakfast next to. Overall it was a great experience and we would definitely come back if we're ever in the area again.

The cabin was rustic and comfortable with all of the necessary comforts of home. The view from the back porch to the creek was beautiful. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. We had a wonderful time exploring various hiking trails in the area and Harris was very attentive and helpful in offering suggestions for nearby activities and restaurants.

Excellent location along the stream, perfect for wading in the water or just sitting by a fire. The amenities were great and the house was clean and comfortable. Harris was an excellent host, everything was communicated perfectly and checking in and out was easy and simple. We had a great time with 4 adults. I'm planning to reserve again with my kids, I think it would be a perfect stay for a family with lots of fun things to do around the house and great activities in the area.

Rustic cabin with the perfect location! Quiet area, easy access, and the creek behind the home was the focal point of the trip! Plenty of fish and wildlife to explore. Harris was very helpful providing links for things to do in the area as well as quick to respond with any questions or concerns during the stay. Check-in was a breeze, appreciated plenty of linens available for all the creek swims with 2 kids. Plenty of firewood as well as an axe for our use. Tubes available on location to keep the kids busy for hours. Fireflies were amazing to watch by the creek after the sun went down. Will stay here again every chance we can get back to the Poconos area!

The ideal location we've been looking for. Adjacent access to the Bushkill stream made our weekend trip one to remember. Great fishing spots and friendly neighbors. This was our perfect getaway to get closer to our nations abundant beauty.

My family and I love this place because the creek we love the river and the water the and Mr Harris is a wonderful person. The house needs some improvement like new beds and bathroom mats and downstairs bathroom needs a new lock. My family and I we love to stay there it's very safe, so if you love the water like we do go for a vacation you just have to walk down the back stairs and you are in the water. The kids love it

The pictures in the listing reflect the property accurately. The home has some updates but still could use more. The standout is the location, being on the stream with a campfire at night is perfectly peaceful. The host is very nice and gave us good advice for fishing.

Life has been confusing and chaotic for me lately. Work, personal, and family.... I needed to get away for a weekend and this house was exactly what I needed. The location is absolutely beautiful, and quiet. The river, listening to it, watching it and going in it was just the reset I wanted. Close to restaurants, stores, etc. The house was clean. Harris the owner was wonderful! Already looking to see when we can go back!

This was my first time staying in a vrbo and it was absolutely perfect! All day and night we could hear the peaceful sounds of the creek behind the house. The scenery was beautiful! The fire pit is right next to the creek so you just sit there and have no choice but to relax with all that surrounds you. The house was large enough to comfortably sleep my family of 6 and spacious enough where we had plenty of room to all be able to hang out without feeling cramped. We came in all desperately needing to relax and recharge and left feeling exactly that way. I absolutely recommend staying here!

Fantastic location (babbling brook served up calming water sounds and a few trout). The house has a well-loved yesteryear vacation home vibe--comfortable, easy, a little quirky in a good way--with wonderfully contemporary attention to 21st century appetites (good wifi, big smart TV(s), easy to navigate kitchen, sectional leather couch that could probably accommodate 11 people). Host was friendly, gracious, helpful, and proactive. Definitely hope to return.

Our stay at Bushkill Chalet was wonderful and Harris was a very responsive and helpful host. He even gave us some hiking recommendations for the area. We really enjoyed the fire pit and being right along the creek. This house feels secluded and peaceful, but is only 20 or 30 minutes from some nice towns in the area. Would stay here again!

The cabin itself is absolutely charming. It's clear the owners put a lot of effort into creating a warm and inviting space. The interior has a rustic yet modern feel, boasting comfortable furnishings, cozy blankets, and thoughtful touches throughout. But the real star of the show is the location. Being right next to the creek was simply incredible. We spent hours around the fire pit, watching the water flow by. Truly relaxing. Kids especially enjoyed putting waders on and exploring the creek.Beyond the beautiful location, the cabin was also impeccably clean and well-maintained. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare our own meals, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. We also appreciated the reliable Wi-Fi as cell reception was spotty. They owners were incredibly responsive and provided all the information we needed before and during our stay. Honestly, we can't say enough good things about this cabin. It was the perfect blend of peaceful seclusion and comfortable living. We left feeling completely refreshed and rejuvenated, with memories that will last a lifetime. we had an absolute blast! shooting pool, building fires, cooking s’mores and just living that creek life! can’t wait to come back in the summertime and really enjoy the creek and the back deck!

My wife and I stayed 3 nights for a quiet Valentines weekend, the host was fantastic and available for any questions. House was spotless Clean, we enjoyed the pool table. The best was the beautiful scenery, we actually saw a bald eagle perched right outside of the 2 nd floor deck. Planning a return trip

Very tidy and lovely Chalet that was equipped with everything you need. Comfortable beds and amazing bathrooms. Harris is a great host and there when you need him, amazing response time when we had a question. and wants to share all he knows about the area. We had a great stay!

We had a very lovely stay. The cabin was a typical rustic mountain cabin, however very clean. The stream and firepit were our favorites, very relaxing. There is an awesome pool table that we enjoyed as well. Feeling very relaxed!

Absolutely great location and great communication with the owner. We had a drizzly weekend at the end of September - so stuck inside where the some of the attributes of the cabin detracted from the location I should have read previous reviews and looked at pictures more closely. I didn't appreciate how many steps there were from the driveway to the living level upstairs. The 5 steps up from the driveway to the lower level were steep and difficult for us to manage with supplies and luggage. Once inside, we found the downstairs to be very musty and not inviting as the sliding doors were not operable so there was no cross ventilation on that level. The steps to the main living level (kitchen, living area) were, again, steep. Not the greatest situation for our ailing and replaced knees. A couple obvious misses, 1) there was a pile of dirty bed linens on the floor of one of the downstairs bedrooms and cobwebs above the bed in that same room, 2) no aluminum foil in the kitchen to help with cooking and clean up. If we were younger, and there in the high water months, we would have loved to take advantage of the tubes and spend time actually in the water. All in all, Despite the weather and the steps, we did have a good time. I wish I had booked the other property that this owner referred to in his description. VRBO listing 1597879. Then we would have had a single floor, great location and a great communicating owner.

My friends and I just wanted to relax by the fire each night, after hiking all day. This was the perfect place to do so. Would definitely recommend.

My friends and I meet every year for a long weekend of relaxation and connection. We LOVED this cabin. The location was private and felt remote, but the necessary shops were only a 15 minute ride. The water was gorgeous, and we were able to hear the stream all hours. The host was responsive, communicative, responsible and accommodating. We're short listing this cabin for next year, as we all came home to our families feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

I stayed at this home for labor day weekend. We checked in friday and checked out monday...it was an amazing stay...i have no complaints whatsoever...harris was an excellent host and made sure our stay there was welcoming and comfortable. I cant thank harris enough for everything he has done...i highly recommend this property to anyone with a family that loves campfires and sitting in the creek...there was more than enough room in the home to accommodate for everyone we went with! All in all I definitely enjoyed my stay!!! Thank you so much harris for a great time! We really appreciated everything you done!

Loved the location of this property! We enjoyed every second outdoors once the storm passed. We did need to sleep 8 people but the futon didn’t pull out flat. Thankfully two of us had air mattresses with us to sleep on. I did speak with the owner about this and he said he would address this issue. The power was out when we arrived due to a storm and the cleaners did the best they could to clean without power. The owner offered to bring lanterns to avoid being in the dark, but thankfully the lights came back on before he had to do that. Overall this was a great location and we enjoyed floating in the creek in the tubes provided, sitting around the fire pit at night and spending time outdoors!

Chalet 7/10 Cozy but dated. Has full amenities to meet most if not all needs. Windows and doors could use some updating. Property 10/10 Running stream sound at all times with a beautiful backdrop. Firepit with ample firewood to complement the setting. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Harris is an excellent host - very responsive and nice personality. Lives within minutes but gave us total privacy. Answered all texts immediately. Location in a quiet neighborhood. Totally safe. Close to a lot of activities. View and sound of the creek were amazing. Loved the decks. Plenty of seating. Firepit was so nice and right next to the creek and close to the house. No bugs or mosquitos. Creek level was low so swimming and tubing was not available in mid-August. Gas grill right next to the kitchen. Nice feature. Nice for a small dog. Pool table and cornhole game was fun. Superb wifi for our well connected family of 6 people. Great combo drip and K-cup Keurig made hot coffee and kept is hot on the burner. Super air fryer and 4-slice toaster. Plenty of seating to eat and sit around. Bathrooms were new and nice and clean. Well water was good. Furnishings are dated and some could be replaced. Closets were large but filled with bins and other stuff making them not totally available for use. Good A/C. Two nice TV's. Plenty of dishes, knives. Dishwasher worked well. If you are a clean-freak, be prepared to do some cleaning. Beautiful views of creek through the many sliding glass doors. We had a great time here.
