Welcome to the fully remodeled Whiskey Creek Chalet, a beautiful mountain-modern, free-standing, ski-in/ski-out property located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village within the Arrowhead community. Enjoy spectacular Spanish Peaks and Lone Mountain Views with the ability to ski-in directly to the back entrance of the chalet via the intermediate Silver Knife run. Ski-out directly down to the brand new, high-speed, 8-passenger Ram Charger or 6-passenger Swift Current bubble lifts offering heated seats and access to a wide variety of terrain for skiers and boarders of all levels. For families with kids, enjoy a convenient 3-minute walk down to ski-school drop off allowing you to maximize your time on the mountain or walk back to the property to enjoy your morning coffee while taking in the views. With its excellent location at the base of Big Sky’s intermediate Silver Knife run, Whiskey Creek Chalet is a private ski-in, ski-out escape in the heart of Big Sky’s lively Mountain Village.
The architecture and rustic/modern decor give a feeling of an upscale mountain-side ski chalet. Lounge in the new cozy sofa or curl up in one of the two custom cowhide leather chairs. Enjoy the Sonos music experience with room by room volume control and excellent surround sound. Catch a show, game, or movie on the 50 inch Vizio Smart TV with 70+ channels of live TV via YouTube TV, or simply take in the charming Village atmosphere and expansive views from the floor to ceiling windows.

The open floor plan provides a Great Room feel with plenty of seating for your entire group. The kitchen has been completely remodeled with brand new appliances and fully stocked with everything you need to cook and serve wonderful meals. Two bar stools provide seating at the counter bar for sipping coffee in the morning or drinking your favorite cocktails after a day on the slopes. An 8-seat custom dining room table offers plenty of room to enjoy home cooked meals. There is a half bath, fully stocked/fully remodeled laundry room, and a remodeled mud/snow room located off the back of the property which is the perfect place to store all your ski/snowboard gear. We have added new ski & snowboard racks this year as well as a large custom bench with ski/snowboard boot heaters below. Additionally, there is a new jacuzzi deck off the main level room mudroom which is the perfect way to recharge after a long day on the slopes.

Upstairs you will find the large, fully remodeled master bedroom offering incredible views, gorgeous vaulted ceilings, and total privacy being the only room on the top floor. The entire room was completely remodeled as of Summer 2021 and features a custom king-sized bed with beautiful leather frame, fireplace, closet area with dresser, and overlooks Lone Mountain, Spanish Peaks, and Mountain Village. The room has a 55-inch flat screen TV with Sonos sound bar and surround sound. There is a private en-suite bathroom with heated floors, his/hers sinks, and a brand new spacious shower that allows natural light to flow in.

Downstairs, you’ll find three of the four bedrooms, all of which have now been remodeled as of December 2021. The secondary master features a brand new Cal King bed with an en-suite bathroom with shower and a separate vanity/sink conveniently located outside the enclosed area. The room also has a full chest of drawers, dual nightstands, new flat screen TV, Sonos, a humidifier, and plenty of closet space.

The second bedroom (great for kids or a family of four), located off the front entryway consists of one queen bed, with a Twin XL top bunk over the queen and a pull out Twin XL trundle bed below the queen. There is a wooden armoire for folded clothes, an additional closet for hanging items, a shared nightstand and a humidifier, as well as a 55 inch TV. As with the master bedroom next door, the vanity/sink are in the bedroom, separate from the enclosed bathroom. This room has a fully remodeled tub/shower as well.

The third downstairs bedroom offers a Twin-XL bunkbed, Sonos, a beautiful dresser, and an en-suite bathroom with shower.

From your front door, easily walk to the Ramcharger high-speed, heated and weatherproof 8-person lift (installed in 2018) or the newly installed and upgraded (2021) high-speed, heated and weatherproof 6-seat Swift Current lift for access to a variety of terrain, from bowls and steeps for advanced skiers to novice-friendly green runs. During the summer, explore more than 40 miles of trails right from the Village area, including lift-served mountain biking. Big Sky Resort also offers disc golf, archery and zipline rides.

After a day on the mountain, refuel by having a drink at one of the many après ski options within walking distance of the property or take a snow-cat to the Montana Dinner Yurt. There is an oversized one car garage that comes with the unit that will fit cars and trucks of all sizes.

The unit comes with high speed internet and wi-fi so you are able to stream you favorite shows or hop on your laptop to do a few emails.

All in all Whiskey Creek Chalet offers an unbeatable ski-in/ski-out location within the mountain village with all the modern conveniences you have come to expect.

    Host was the best part. Explained all the entry, parking and loading/unloading thoroughly and was available for all questions and things we couldn’t figure out. She had an instruction/eelcome book that basically addressed and explained everything in the house. Auto blinds fire place etc. space was awesome 3 levels and good /practical kitchen pots pans and utensils and all the appliances we ended up cooking most meals at the house.

    We visited Big Sky with our adult children, their spouses and our toddler grandson. The location and the property could not have been more perfect! The ski access and proximity to the shops and restaurants gave us tons of flexibility for skiing and enjoying the resort. The host and the building manager were very helpful, welcoming and informative. We will definitely plan another trip to this property!

    Wonderful spot. The view of Lone Peak from the living room is something special and proximity to slopes is hard to beat.Getting in and out is a bit tricky with the steep, snowy walkways but there are clear instructions to work around it and Doug the HOA legend is beyond helpful with transporting luggage.We will definitely be back!

    Location was very convenient. Easy walk several places and quick drive to city center and other hotel restaurants. Hosts and HOA manager replied quickly - even with the holiday. Also provided great recommendations for restaurants and activities. Kitchen was well equipped. Big Sky is such a beautiful place.

    Jessica, the VRBO owner, was absolutely wonderful to work with when booking our stay. She was the perfect Host. The house was wonderful and could not have been more convenient to everything, including the lifts.The property manager is also wonderful and I would highly recommend using him to take your luggage up on arrival and down upon departure. You can do it yourself, but especially during snow/ski season, it's much easier if not having to walk your luggage in any snow conditions. It's not a long walk, but definitely would recommend using the Property Manager. The house had everything you need for a relaxing stay. It is a beautiful property and we cannot wait to return!

    We were a group of 8 friends and this place was the perfect base for our ski trip. True ski in/out access. Short walk to the main base area with restaurants and bars. The private hot tub was in incredible after a long day on the mountain. The house is well stocked and well furnished.

    We were thrilled with our experience at this property in Big Sky. The unit is located super-close to the resort and has easy access to the Ramcharger lift. The space was clean and comfortable with epic views of Lone Peak and the ranges from nearly every window. We cooked a bunch and had everything we needed for family meals. Jessica was a pleasure to work with, provided lots of tips in the area, and was super-responsive for a couple of times we needed some help. You'll have a great time in Big Sky staying here!
