Communication was excellent, and the location was good, with beautiful views. It was very comfortable for our large, multigenerational family group.

We had a great stay at Chamonix Chalet! The view was amazing and the house provided the perfect amount of privacy. Spacious set up for our family and so happy they allow well-behaved dogs! Access to the slopes was super easy, and so thankful for the hot tub after skiing and snowboarding! Hosts were very communicative and friendly.

We loved the house — what a beautiful view! The house was large with a nicely stocked kitchen, spacious dens and decks on two levels and enough space for the seven of us to spread out. We enjoyed the fireplace (with lots of stacked wood), the hot tub, and the fire pit. The board games and puzzles were also great. Our son and GF brought their dog; we enjoyed long walks in the neighborhood. The host was terrific about explaining the expectations of taking care of the furniture while having the dog with us. We enjoyed watching the mountain bikers who were going down the slopes. We also hiked nearby and had a side trip to Cass. We also enjoyed a night out at the brewery in Snowshoe. The host communicated quickly and was helpful. We also appreciated the beautiful fall weather — thank you for arranging that! We also happened to be there at peak time for the leaves changing in West Virginia.

We are four friends who travel together each year. The home was exactly as advertised. It was well equipped and the management company were beyond helpful and cooperative and responsive to our questions.

We enjoyed 5 great days. We had 8 adults and two kids 2&4 years old. My daughter & kids are from Charlotte NC. My brother from Indiana. The house was neat and clean. Had everything we needed. We would like to come again when there is snow! It was definitely Almost Heaven

We had a wonderful time at this home. We went for GNCC weekend and to get some mountain biking in. The house was perfect for our group of friends. Plenty of space inside and out to enjoy our time. Everything worked great and the communication was great before the trip and during our stay. The shuttle to the village was super convenient as well. There was plenty of parking and it was nice that we were tucked back on a little side road/driveway so it wasn't busy. We would recommend and hope to stay again!

Great house for our family, plenty of room to spread out and also space for us all to gather together for dinner and games in one place. Communication was great, including quick responses to a few questions we had after arrival. Highly recommend.

We had so much fun celebrating and relaxing on the mountain. 8 adults comfortably hung out at this beautiful, peaceful home. Excellently stocked kitchen with enough stuff to accommodate all of our eating and cooking. The most perfect wood burning stove to keep the home warm and toasty but the serene atmosphere and stunning views captured the essence of the vacation. We brought a lot of food and supplies but the things we forgot were easy to get at local shops. Super close drive to the slopes so again if we did forget something we could just easily drive back to the house. Plus the mudroom made it easy to keep all the boarding stuff contained and out of the house. Easy and clear communication for checking in and out which made it an overall 5 star experience for our family and friends!

We had a great visit in early February and the home was spacious enough for our large group. We loved that we could bring our dog and were provided detailed instructions regarding, check-in/out, and pet policy. However, there were a few items that kept me from giving 5-star rating. The entry way to home had 6 of ice which made entering/exiting home very dangerous. My wife had a broken wrist during our trip and was terrified to go outside. There was a container of snow melt at home but unfortunately it was completely empty. I will say they did a decent job of shoveling the driveway so at least we could park our vehicles safely. In addition, my wife found several mini bottles and garbage in areas of the home so cleaning could have been more thorough. Lastly, we had to purchase additional garbage bags, toilet paper and paper towels in the village as each bathroom had limited supplies considering our group was staying at property for 4 days. I guess we could have brought our own but for the price we were charged to rent home this was certainly disappointing. All in all, the home met our expectations and was delivered as advertised on website. The hot tub was clean and we all enjoyed relaxing on deck. We would consider returning to Chamonix again but will probably shop around to see if there are other properties in area that are less expensive.

Beautiful snow, close to the slopes, and cozy accommodations.

Great place to stay when visiting Snowshoe! The property was very clean and layout is great with different living spaces, multiple bedroom and baths for large group. The bedding/linens could use an update but kitchen was well stocked. The shuttle to/from the resort a great perk, we never used our cars and great when people want to come and go from the resort at different times.

Breathtaking views and plenty of room for our group!

Great kitchen with everything you could want. Space is great, plenty of room for anyone needing to settle down. Good mattresses, lots of TV's-not that there is time for that! Summer fun all around.
