The fridge door storage tray was broken toilet roll holder in double room was coming off the wall and the dining chairs could do with replacing

Good holiday setting, relaxed feel to the location, Lots of facilities on site to do and things to do nearby too.Only down side would be the lodge could have done with a bit more cleaning. We found sweets, rappers and rubbish inside the lodge. The mats on the table were also greasy and dirty. We also had a used towel which had been left there. These were reported to reception who did remove the towel. We had cleaned the rest already.

Well equipped and very spacious lodge. Only negatives were the lack of shelving in the bedrooms and the very hard double bed in the master bedroom.

sofa are uncomfortable as wearing out that is the only negative.

Ideal for us as a family.

Shower trays in showers need updating and there was a fair bit of dust in the corners of the room which could have been hoovered up.

We did find problems with our accommodation, the main one (the element in the oven had come down) we logged with reception. They sent someone out straight away but they didn't actually fix it, they just moved the top shelf down 1 level. It meant that anything that was on the top shelf burnt within minutes, and anything in the middle or bottom took about an hour to cook.Apart from that, our lodge was excellent and we loved the layout and the space in the living area! We had an enormous decked area, with a fantastic view. I would definitely try to book this same lodge again if we are able to come again!The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially in the restaurant when we came down as a group with our friends who were also staying at Cheddar Woods. At the beginning of our stay there were 13 of us, then from the Monday, there were 10 of us. The staff were amazing and always managed to get us seated together. The food was amazing and always served altogether and all piping hot!Thank you all very much for making our holiday a memorable one!

First class Lodge, nothing to complain about .

Perfect weekend stay beautiful location and all facilities clean and Upto date

The lodge itself was great, with so much space. ( even with a washing machine and dishwasher) We were lucky and had a brilliant view from a terrace.

Overall very comfortable stay in The Axbridge lodge. The temperature in the ensuite shower could have been hotter but we reported this to Reception upon checking out.

Overall excellent value for money in the winter months.

I recommend Axbridge lodge. Very spacious and bright.

The Lodge was spacious, although there were only 2 adults, bedrooms spacious with plenty storage. The only cleanliness 'issue' we had was the windows could have done with a really good clean. They were covered in cobwebs/spiders and general dust and dirt. The sofas could also do with new cushion padding for sitting on as these were very 'thin'. Apart from these everything was value for money.

All excellent just mattresses not the best and noise from boiler quite loud on the main bedroom

Furniture fitting a little tired.Table very marked and sticky.Settee and chairs very, very soft. Need replacing.

We had a great time at the resort, the place was ideally situated for everything we wanted to do. The lodge was spacious and had all what we needed and the spa area also had all the amenities for anything you wanted to do. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the food was very good. My only gripe was that in the outside play area for the children, there was a football area to close to the childrens play area and the goal was that end, so at times the ball was going into the play area at times at quite a rate of knots. So in my opinion the goal should be changed to the other end or put a giant net up to stop the ball going into the play area. I could see someone getting smashed in the face or quite hurt. You have a lovely place and we would visit again.
