1 Mile From Pigeon Forge Parkway-River Front Cottage-Fishing year round-One story

I recently stayed in a two-room rental home, and unfortunately, it left much to be desired. While the property offered good Wi-Fi and a convenient parking space, these were among the very few positives of the stay. The condition of the home was unacceptable. The bed sheets had dark red stains that were deeply unsettling, and the fans were covered in a thick layer of dust, making the air feel unclean. The walls were dirty and clearly hadn’t been maintained in years, contributing to an overall feeling of neglect. The bathroom was no better, with moldy shower curtains that made using the shower uncomfortable. The entire home felt outdated, with furniture and fixtures that seemed decades old and in dire need of replacement. While the Wi-Fi was reliable and the parking space was sufficient, these amenities could not compensate for the poor cleanliness and lack of upkeep. I would not recommend this rental unless significant improvements are made. Cleanliness and basic maintenance should be top priorities for any host, and this property fell far short.

The home was in a great location and very close to the river which is what we wanted but the home was in dire need of of certain things. One was rear deck felt extremely unstable and was leaning away from home and was very old wood and unlevel. The outdoor furniture was unusable in very bad shape. The inside issues were it was listed as home that slept 6. It had two rooms with beds and one pull out couch that honestly had to be 15 years old and felt horrible as mattress was delipated with springs keeping you from even laying flat. Every mattress in the home had horrible stains to even include blood and urine stains on each one. Some of the sheets on the beds even had blood stains which will be included in pictures. The bathrooms was very moldy and had dead gnats and bugs in both. My kids both wouldn't even take a shower without us cleaning with bleach as they were both scared they would catch something. We slept on top of the comforter as with stains on mattress and sheets made us very uncomfortable. Also it was listed as non smoking and the rear of the home had a very heavy cigarette smell which was extremely uncomfortable. Other than that it was just ok at best and would only expect that level of cleanliness at a hunting camp or something. The cleanliness was very unacceptable.

Great little home, comfortable beds, clean, beautiful back yard with river. Kids loved it and the sounds of the water just melts the stress away.

We loved our stay because of the proximity to town. Our kids also loved playing in the river.

The scenery was amazing. The master bedroom could use a better remote, perhaps a mattress topper? Or the option for a mattress topper. Plenty of outside seating. The rear porch was a little crowded. Will definitely have to book again, and bring inner tubes and rope. The house was clean, the neighbourhood was quiet. Was discouraged not catching any fish. But that’s how the luck goes sometimes. Beautiful set up. And for the most part comfortable.

Perfect for a quick weekend to the area! Lovely spot. Back deck was a perfect place for my morning coffee! Quiet neighborhood but close to everything!

It was amazing to be right off the strip for sure. Very quiet. Could have used more essentials cooking wise but overall was a good clean place.

This house and contents are in need of updates and some remodeling but the location is absolutely perfect and convenient..Could have been cleaner..We loved our stay and honestly would maybe be interested in buying the property if the price was right..Property management easy to get a hold of..Over All a good stay

Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The place could have been a bit more clean but overall I would stay again.

Quiet neighborhood friendly staff

Very quiet neighborhood. Loved the little river behind house. Beds very uncomfortable someone needs to take the foam off and replace with memory foam. Deck was scary out side furniture very dirty and not safe to sit in some of it. Loved the location.

We enjoyed the Comfort at home and close to all the main attractions in pigeon Forge!!

If you’re looking for bells and whistles this is not a place for you. If your looking for a nice house near the strip, close but in a quite neighborhood then you will enjoy this location. Nice creek out back, quite. No complaints here, would definitely consider a return stay.

Great central location in Pigeon Forge close to plenty of food and attractions! Gorgeous view off the back porch. House could use a little updating and a good deep cleaning, but overall great experience.
