Stayed Aug 11, 2024This is a wonderful place to stay. We were on holiday with our adult children, we wanted privacy, a chance to relax, peace and quiet - it was everything we hoped for. The chateau has lots of space, even more than the photos depict. The pool is a generous size and very well maintained...if a pool is high on your wish list then this property is for you. Inside there is a good quality upright piano, billiards, a TV with Netflix etc. The laundry room was useful. The hosts, Annie and Francois were lovely people, they met us on arrival and gave us a quick and helpful tour of the property, they were available if we had needed them but otherwise we were given total privacy, they were never intrusive, the balance was perfect. It's worth knowing there is a fantastic bakery only two or three minutes by car - they bake on the premises and are no ordinary baker...it is truly fantastic, fresh croissants, extensive patisserie, savoury bakes such as little quiches, a variety of bread - we had fresh breakfast every day. The chateau is well placed for Saumur and surrounding sites - it is easy to walk down to the banks of the Loire and follow a footpath alongside the river if you wish to walk, go for a run or ride a bike. A lovely and much needed relaxing holiday - we would highly recommend this stay.

Stayed Aug 4, 2024This atmospheric beautiful Chateau is just the place for a relaxing family holiday. The bedrooms are comfortable and the chateau provides many spaces for family gatherings not least the beautiful pool. Our hosts were very welcoming and were able to help us with any questions we had. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Stayed Aug 7, 2022We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful house! Annie and François were so kind and friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, and the garden was amazing. Some of my children finally learned to swim confidently in the lovely saltwater pool. We visited the château at Saumur and the old town square, and enjoyed every moment of our holiday. We hope to stay here again another year!
