Other things to note
Indian Canyon Ranch is a Nest In Harmony promoted location, we value natural living and alternative living styles and featuring different living structures for off-grid lifestyles. With our guidance for the best experience for guests, owner of Indian Canyon Ranch, Joe, lived and worked in Yosemite & Grand Canyon National Park as project manager and not wanting the used materials to be wasted in the landfill, Joe captured the opportunity to create an off-grid retreat when he bought the first 10 acres of Indian Canyon Ranch which is now 20 acres total He took years to collect and build this off-grid retreat, piece by piece, up-cycling construction debris. Now Joe lives off-grid full-time and is sharing in the experience. Joe will be able to answer some of your questions or give you advice on the area and other natural wonders in the region including local Indian ruins, or a great place to swim, or go off-roading :)

This was such a fun place to stay. It was like camping but better. You get to meet other people that are staying right around you. Super quiet, relaxing and fun. I will be back. You have a shower, bathrooms, water, everything to cook with. Joe is a great guy. PS. Love the Dogs. So much fun to pet and play with.
A quiet, inviting space in a beautiful off-the-beaten path location. Host was very welcoming and available. If you are looking to disconnect and enjoy the pristine beauty of southern Utah, this is the place to be.
Awesome place
Fabulous experience. Off the grid and such amazing scenery. It’s a gorgeous place. Joe was amazing to help us find the site, very hospitable, and easy to talk to with questions.
Joe was an awesome host and was extremely inviting, as well as Bear and River ?! RV was clean and tidy, and had everything necessary. The outhouse and shower were the different adventure, but something my boyfriend (who’s in the military) enjoyed very much. The stars at night were beautiful. We definitely wish we could have stayed a couple more nights. Our dog also enjoyed the adventure! Thanks, Joe!!!
It’s hard to start this. Probably like many others, you are thinking hippie commune. That couldn’t be more wrong. This place is an oasis. Joe has a passion for setting up a place to allow others to enjoy themselves. Everyone, my two young kids (6 & 4) and wife, talked about how wonderful this place is. If you want a luxury stay with spa days, it’s not for you. M if you want to meet people and have downright comfortable family time around a communal fire, it’s the absolute perfect spot. Another perk to the spot is the elevation. It keeps temps lower than nearby Moab. I’m so thankful we chose this place and cannot wait time return.
We chose to rent the rv rather than a tent campsite as a compromise because the weather was still a bit unpredictable. We had a great vacation. Joe is the perfect host and the property was just what we expected. There are lots of great hikes and ruins to explore in the area. We loved meeting other guests at the community fire pit but had plenty of privacy in our own space with private fire pit. Will definitely rent again when in the area!
