This simple accommodation creates a distraction free space to reconnect. You’ll love peering over the banana trees and watching the sun disappear beyond the mountain. There is incredible stargazing at this site. To top off your vacation bliss, the glamping tent is just a half mile from the beach!

What to Expect:
Tent: One king bed with solar powered string lights, towels, and picnic area for reminiscing about the days adventure. (Running on solar energy, please help us conserve power by using energy thoughtfully.)

ENERGY:
To help us preserve energy, please charge all devices during daylight hours and avoid charging at night. Turn off the fans when gone for the day. The site runs on solar power and when everyone charges overnight, there may not be enough power for the bathrooms so we will have to wait for the sun to come back up to give us energy.

Shared Off‑Grid Bathhouse: Solar powered, flushing toilets, and showers but no potable water. Currently running cold. Guests should be conservative with their water use since this is an off-grid facility with limited supply.

Geckos – These friendly little lizards are part of Hawaiian life. You’ll likely see them on walls or ceilings. They're harmless and actually help control insects, but if you're not used to wildlife, it's something to consider.

Wildlife & Insects: Nature plays host to local critters—frogs, geckos, chickens and yes, mosquitoes, and ants—so please don’t be surprised if you see them. We do our best with treating the surrounding areas to keep bugs to a minimal. We ask you to clean up after yourselves and seal/close any leftover food to help keep the insects to a minimum.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS CAMPING IN HAWAII, it is not a luxurious accommodation. (I know, we’ve said it a couple of times but it’s important that you know and that you are not caught off guard.) We cannot control the weather and we cannot control the bugs. Expect bugs, mud when it rains, geckos and wild chickens.

SUGGESTION: Check the weather report in advance to ensure that you are prepared for any weather conditions that could occur. Bring any bug repellent that you might need. Hawaii's rainy season is from October-March. Keep in mind that Hawaii is a tropical island so PLEASE be prepared for mosquitoes and other insects.

The tent looks EXACTLY like the pictures so you know exactly what you’re getting. The campground is in a nice, quiet area. We didn’t have problems with anyone being too loud at night and all the campers were very respectful of each others space. Check in was easy they just emailed me a code. This is a good way to travel without having to spend a ton of money on a hotel so I’m very grateful that this was an option for us.

Unique experience, glamping in Laie. Laie is an amazing small town hosting the must see Polynesian Cultural Center. With little accommodations in the area and a lot to see and do in the area including visiting the North Shore beach town of Haleiwa, I would recommend staying here. Get out of city for a couple of days, support local small businesses like this one! This accommodation is basic, nothing like a hotel because it’s not, it is a furnished yurt/ large tent but that’s the cool factor. It also has picturesque views of the lush green mountains.

We were rained out after the first night, and stayed elsewhere for the remaining two. Fortunately the host refunded the remaining nights. While the amenities are adequate…. The location is not the place to stay in a rainstorm. Thank you for the refund.

The stars at night, the sounds of the chickens. Wow! 10 out of 10!!!! This is a once in a lifetime experience and I HIGHLY recommend staying here. It’s also perfectly located near grocery store, Polynesian culture center, beach and a bunch of outdoor activities. Oh and the route to get there is just gorgeous. Thank you to the host!

The tent was nice and bed inside was okay. The tent didn't breath well so the inside became very humid and hot. We did have electricity in the tent which was nice. The farm could have better signage to get to the to glamping area but the location was good and close to the PCC and numerous beaches. It was nice to have bathrooms and showers but it was across the dirt area from us and our shoes got muddy all the time. There was no hot water, which wasn't always a bad thing but was shocking. The hosts were great though and very nice.
