Experience pure relaxation within the enchanting shelter of a 320 SF Glamping Tent, nestled just a stone's throw from the tranquil waters of the Red River. The Dancing Deer beckons with its fully furnished sanctuary, boasting a king-sized bed, twin trundle bed, smart TV, fan, AC unit, coffee station, minifridge, microwave, internet access, firepit, grill, access to a bath house and an array of amenities. Despite the 10-minute drive to shops and restaurants, the area exudes a sense of serene seclusion.

Welcome to our enchanting glamping experience, where nature meets comfort in a unique canvas setting. As stewards of the great outdoors, we want you to fully immerse yourself in the beauty of crisp nights and starlit skies. Please note that our tent is a true canvas structure without insulation, meaning that temperatures inside may reflect the cooler or warmer weather outside. While being canvas, this also means that it is nearly waterproof, however, wind can blow water underneath during bad storms.

As stewards of the great outdoors, we want you to fully immerse yourself in the beauty of crisp nights and starlit skies. Please note that our tent is a true canvas structure without insulation, meaning that temperatures inside may reflect the cooler or warmer weather outside. Chilly Nights, Cozy Comfort:

As the sun sets and temperatures drop, we invite you to relish the authentic experience of feeling the natural elements. To enhance your comfort, we provide a heated mattress cover and an electric blanket. While these may not keep you toasty, you may want to pack additional belongings and plan accordingly for chilly nights.

It's all part of the immersive experience, allowing you to fully enjoy the magical ambiance of our glamping retreat.

Winter Wonderland Attire:

Hard to access windy roads. Dirt by river and not inviting to get on river anyways. Lock system cumbersome. Parking far away. Also with named parking spots being out there solo really didn’t want someone to know which one I was in by myself. No internet access on road there and did not download entry info before I got on site so that was frustrating. Toilets water went out last day so they offered to move me. Hard to find signs are small.

My kids and I had the best experience glamping! The site was gorgeous and had every amenity a hotel would have. The views were beautiful! The stay was more than comfortable and very clean! Very quick communication with the property owner! Zero complaints! We will definitely stay with them again!

Wonderful host, easy check-in. If there is a wind tunnel fan and a portable ac, why not a space heater? Got cold at night which was expected. The bed was comfy and warm but when we woke up, the relief came when we hurried to heat the car and leave. Otherwise, great stay. Nice folks as neighbors too.

Everything is clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable. The girls had a great time building a fire. It was close to everything we wanted to do at Red River Gorge.

Great serene location. Fun creek adjacent to tent. The tent gets warm during the day in the summer, despite the AC, but that's too be expected. Would revisit and recommend.

Fun experience. My only wish, as a single women, if there would be some type of lock that could be used when inside the tent. I realize this was a canvas structure but the mental comfort of a lock would have been a benefit for me other wise great experience all around

The Dancing Deer exceeded every expectation! It had everything you could possibly want for a perfect glamping experience and then some. The attention to detail was impeccable, and the modulated storage container for the community showers and restrooms was an added bonus that made the stay even more convenient. The atmosphere was serene, comfortable, and full of charm—truly a unique and amazing experience. I can’t recommend this place enough! I will be coming back.

Nice short drive from our home in Ohio. The place was clean and had everything we needed for a short getaway. The National Forest was close and bountiful in hiking and wonderful views.

Had an awesome time relaxing and grilling some good food! They have just about everything you need included, definitely bring some warm clothes for the night time and turn the AC on asap if it's a hot day. Can't recommend this enough to get out of the city for a few days and let your mind unwind.
