Location is in a secluded area with only a few houses around. It is quiet and safe.
Property is gorgeous, yurt is cozy. Not too far from cody. Loved every second here and will be coming back.
The yurt itself was nice, clean and well appointed. The toilet was outside (in its own small building), across the deck. Since it was in the 30s at night this was a little inconvenient. The shower was attatched to the back of a neighboring cabin about 50' from the yurt. In hot weather this would have been OK. The main issue we had is that there is no running water in the yurt which was a pain to brush your teeth, shave or clean up dishes. I'm not sure how I missed that aspect of the place in the description.
Sadly plans changed and we didn't get to stay.when we arrived it was extremely hot in the yurt woth no way to open windows for nice breeze.
A great location to access the Beartooth Mountains and surrounding Shoshone National Forest. Loved the yurt, very cozy and comfortable. A great place to return to each day after a beautiful hike to the high mountain lakes on the Beartooth Plateau. Nan and Brian were very friendly and super helpful with information about the area. I highly recommend staying here.
The yurt was amazing! We were welcomed right when we pulled in by Nan who was a fantastic host. It was a great place to return to after visiting Yellowstone National Park. It was a fun experience!
We loved our stay! It was just what we needed for our fishing trip. Our hosts were very easy to communicate with and the Yurt was just as described. Thanks so much for everything!
Our honeymoon stay in a beautiful yurt nestled in the mountains was simply magical. The yurt itself was a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comforts, with a cozy bed and a private patio offering breathtaking views. The location was ideal for adventure, with hiking trails, and Yellowstone just a moment away. The host Nan provided exceptional hospitality, making us feel cherished and creating unforgettable memories. If you're seeking a romantic and adventurous getaway, this yurt retreat is an absolute dream come true.
Thanks for your hospitality to my friends they had a great time.
The Yurt was truly a unique and wonderful experience. Nan, the property manager, was so hospitable, kind and informative about the area. The property had everything we needed and was absolutely gorgeous. I could not recommend staying here enough, you won’t regret it!
Couldn’t ask for a better location. Close to NE entrance of Yellowstone. Four miles from Beartooth highway and Chief Joseph. Very comfortable living quarters. Gracious hosts.
Thank you for sharing your property with us! We had a great stay and the yurt was cozy. Nan was very friendly.
We loved this place !!! super cool yurt on quiet location, little bit far from East gate of Yellowstone but we didn’t mind driving! First day when we pulled in to yurt we saw a fox and deers!!!! Toilet was easy to use,hot water in the shower and Wi-Fi was good for email,FaceTime calls,FB and YouTube videos!!! Another benefit is short drive to bearthooth scenic Highway and Cooke City! We had lots of fun! We highly recommended it! Radek,Martina and Elijah
My husband and I recently stayed in this lovely yurt so that we could be closer to the Island Lake area, which was closed to camping. The bed was very comfortable, and it was very easy to use the incinolet (for those who may be wondering). Brian was a perfectly lovely host, giving us a lot of great information in addition to just being fun to chat with. We definitely want to return!
We loved the yurt! We were looking for an experience that was close to Yellowstone, but with the recent flooding the Yellowstone experience wasn't going to happen. We were so excited to learn of the amazing opportunities to explore the Shoshone Mountains instead. The Yurt was stocked with everything we needed and was much more spacious than we expected. Highly recommend!
