Absolutely beautiful cabin with plenty of room to be comfortable. Easy to get to and plenty of room for parking. We only stayed for one night on our way to TN but would stay here again.

We had a great visit to Red River Gorge. The cabin had everything we needed for cooking and grilling. Nice aesthetics and comfy accommodations. Hot tub and fire pit took it over the top.

Great place tucked in to the hills! All was as described, only issue was even though it advertises a washer and dryer, it is not noted that you need to bring your own detergent. That wouldn’t deter me from coming back, just a heads up for future guests. Thanks for everything!

Loved everything about this property and it has inspired us to consider building one for our next chapter in life (retirement). Terrific location, beautiful inside and out. Thoroughly enjoyed spending time by the fire after long day of hiking, slept great on the very comfy and cozy bed. We brought our own groceries and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. Super clean and just the right size for us.

The cabin is exactly like its pictured, clean and comfortable, directions were easy to follow. Amazing internet. Beautiful views. I would recommend just a few things for future guests. I tend to forget small things, and i always assume that there will be toiletry items and samples of laundry detergent, etc. This is 100 percent my fault but these things are not provided so double check your bags! Also, if you're a couch potato at night, bring your own throw blankets. Again, all things I normally bring and not a critic of the property at all! The accommodations were wonderful! If there is another forgetful middle aged woman reading reviews, hopefully this helps you to know what to pack. The beds were comfortable, water pressure was great, and it was exceptionally clean! Great find and a great cabin!

We came down from Ohio to do a few days of backpacking in the gorge, and this place was the perfect place to get a good night’s sleep before the hike and such a great place to rest and reflect on the hike afterwards. Amanda was wonderful with communication and incredibly friendly. Would recommend for backpackers as a home base and also for anyone doing day hikes! Will be back 100% :)

Weekend getaway for a cpl of moms. The stay could not have been more perfect!! The location was awesome too! It’s right near so many cool things to do, eat, or see. The container cabin was awesome! SO cute, very clean, easy to find and the owners made everything so easy! Would totally come back!

Inside was excellent. Stayed in July so using outside was weather dependent… had thunderstorm and/or high humidity. Loved our stay. Only downside was the road leading up to the container cabin. It was narrow and meeting another vehicle on the road to pass was sketchy at times.

On our way back from Ohio, we thought it would be fun to explore this area and go hiking. The cabin was a perfect location, and we loved the cabin. It was clean and comfortable with wonderful views. The hot tub was perfect in the evening after a long day of hiking.

We had a wonderful stay at the Original Shipping Container Cabin. It was super clean, nice appliances, comfortable beds and a great view. Trails, kayaking, restaurants are all just a very short drive away. We highly recommend this cabin for a great getaway!

We booked this cabin while attending a wedding at the bottom of the hill, and since it was our first visit to Red River Gorge, we didn’t quite know what to expect. As it turns out, we had an absolutely amazing time! Not only is the area stunning and full of natural beauty, but the cabin itself exceeded all expectations. In fact, I’d say the owner undersold it!Perched at the top of a mountain, the cabin offers breathtaking views of the gorge. One of our favorite features was the covered porch—perfect for enjoying your morning coffee while taking in the peaceful surroundings. The cabin was thoughtfully appointed with attention to every detail, including the beautifully maintained landscaping.We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay and will absolutely book this cabin again the next time we visit the Gorge.

Shipping container cabin was the perfect retreat and landing place for our girls getaway. Comfy beds, pretty views and located nearby so many great hikes and activities! Visit the farmers market at the Natural Bridge State park, ride the sky lift and hike back down. Eat at Toads BarN and Girll and most definitely visit underground Gorge for a unique kayak tour!!

This cabin was great for our RRG adventure. Close to the outdoor recreation but isolated from traffic and tourists. The cabin is cute, clean and comfortable. The hot tub and fire pit were perfect for the evenings. 10/10 would stay here again.

A unique place to stay, we really enjoyed it!

We loved our stay! Biggest thing for me is the smell when you first walk in a rental. This rental was absolutely perfect, walking in it felt clean. Super open and spacious. We never left the cabin!

Wonderful 2 night stay in this very clean and comfortable cabin. We had our 2 children with us also and they loved the cabin. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed evenings in the hot tub and then sitting around the campfire. Close to trails. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. Will definitely be coming back.

This place is awesome. Super quiet and peaceful. They have a ton of DVDs and board games to play, which helps with the WiFi not being the best for watching things like Netflix. Pretty decent phone signal though, so I just used my hotspot. Overall awesome, and Amanda was an amazing host with great communication. Will be back!!

Short trip for a relaxing weekend before the Holiday Craziness happens this week. It was exactly what the Dr. ordered. Unplug purposely from most of the world, hiked a little, watched football all weekend and hung out in the hot tub. We loved this location and will be staying again.

We're in Lexington. Who needs to drive all the way to Gatlinburg to stay in a chalet when this is 45 minutes away?

Just had a great weekend here at this container cabin that had everything you needed. Great hot tub and grill, plenty of games and lots of cookware/spices if you are eating in. Wish I'd had booked one more night. Definitely will be back in the future!!! Beautiful place!

This property is cool! We loved the outside look of the containers and the inside is cozy and inviting. The views are wonderful! We had a very nice trip to this area and one of the highlights was definitely this cabin!!

We loved this cabin. The location felt isolated but was 5 minutes from everything. Cabin felt new and very clean. You can stargaze and even see the Milky Way. Host was responsive and accommodating. Be sure to check out Toad's Bar and Grill just a couple of minutes away.

We had a great stay, and my only complaint is that I wish we could stay there longer. The property is exactly as described, very cute and clean. The views were amazing and the hot tub was a treat. We would give it 15 out of 10 stars if we could.

Not much in surrounding area for dining

This was our second trip to this property. It's in a perfect location for access to all that Natural Bridge/RRG has to offer. The cabin was very clean, beds are comfy, and the option to purchase firewood was really nice. Would highly recommend staying here!

This was one of the coolest VRBO’s I’ve stayed in. It had plenty of space inside and outside. Everything was very clean and easily accessible. The beds were extremely comfortable and it was in a quiet, peaceful location. I would definitely recommend this property!

This is our third (or maybe fourth) time staying in the shipping container houses, and once again it was perfect! Clean, cozy, and perfect location. We will be back!

The shipping container cabin was unique and beautiful but the view out the window was amazing. The cabin had everything that you need. I’m not big on hiking but the hike to the natural rock bridge is a must. Breathtaking!!

This was the very cleanest place I’ve ever stayed and I’ve stayed in many VRBO’s. Communication was excellent. The location was perfect. Near everything. But far enough away to have deer and turkey in our front yard. The hot tub worked perfectly. The beds were very comfortable. I cannot say enough. You will not be disappointed.

We had the best time in RRG! The cabin was even better than we imagined. Our host was fantastic and made sure we were taken care of before we even arrived. The cabin was very clean! We will return soon

This checked all the boxes for my husband and I. It met our expectations which we do set the bar pretty high. Very clean and well constructed. The container is designed in a way when you walk in has a modern cabin feel with some unique touches. The whole property is secluded though in a great location for staying near or within the Gorge. The host Amanda was easy to get ahold if needed. Make sue you go to Toads bar/restaurant,just a few miles away. We will be back!

Our stay was amazing ! Very homie & comfortable! Beautiful place just like the photos actually better than the photos. The host responded very quickly! The fire pit and hot tub we really enjoyed! Over all very nice stay & we do plan to rebook again & again!

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend and we loved it. The layout is great, the location is great and the design is incredible with the container. We felt it was centrally located to a lot of the things to do in the area, but still very secluded while at the cabin. I imagine it would be great to visit during the fall when the leaving are changing, so we will definitely stay here again. Beds are comfortable, bathroom is small as can be expected but functional, kitchen is well stocked with cooking necessities, hot tub was great. We didn’t get to use the fire pit due to the weather, but it would have been great.

My family of four enjoyed our stay here. Place was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable. Definitely a nice little hide away that was quiet and relaxing. Close to tons of hiking spots, which we enjoyed as well.

Fantastic property and location to all of the activities in the RRG. Highly recommend this property. We had a great time kayaking the Gorge Underground and riding at Cable’s Stables. Plus great eats at 145 Roadhouse, Redpoint BBQ, and Toads BARn.

The photos of this place do not do it justice! I was amazed at how roomy and clean it was! The beds were comfortable, the hot tub and fire pit were inviting, it was just an overall great place!
