The 'Gingerbread House' is a rustic one-of-a-kind storybook A-Frame chalet with a loft. Absolutely adorable, loaded with charm and character however this may NOT suit some guests. The loft is accessed by way of a ladder with a 250 lb. weight limit. There is no bathroom or water up there, nevertheless this is probably one of the nicest rooms on the property. Set up in the trees offering the feeling of being in a tree house, a fantastic spot to relax, perhaps read a book, take nap on the queen

Stayed May 22, 2025We enjoyed our stay very much! The property is well maintained and decorated beautifully. My wife and I loved staying here and it's only about 30 minutes from the south entrance of Yosemite National Park! Our host even left us some additional details about the town of Oakhurst to find basic necessities and places to eat. This is definitely a small home ideally for 2 people max. We were very happy with our stay, highly recommend it

Stayed May 9, 2025The cottage was very cozy and peaceful surrounded by trees. The inside was very clean and comfortable. I slept on the futon because the climb to the loft was a little steep, temp was warm and the bathroom was on the first level. The loft was very nice though. Sharon was quick to respond to my questions and very helpful. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Stayed Mar 3, 2025My partner and i stayed for 3 days and it was perfect! Sharon was very helpful and attentive, she even started a fire in the wood burning fireplace for us one of the days we were there. The property was beautiful and a great place to stay while we were visiting Yosemite National Park.

Stayed Sep 6, 2024Sharon was a wonderful host, and the Tiny House was lovely, cozy, and private, despite sharing property with host and another rental cottage. Instructions were very clear and informative, and Sharon was responsive and welcoming. We would definitely stay there again!
