Yosemite Hilltop Cabins, Sage Cabin,15 min to the Valley floor, Wifi

Great location with views. Quaint cabin, well-maintained. The property was clean & only 25 min from Yosemite Valley!! We’ll definitely have to stay here again on our next Yosemite adventure.

A lovely little cabin in Yosemite that is away from all the tourists who can be in abundance. The weather was great in late March when my wife and I went and overall I would recommend! The price is a little steep, but overall worth it in my opinion.

My sister and I had a wonderful stay in the cabin. It was easy access to Yosemite and the kitchen had everything we needed to make food in the evenings. Gorgeous location!

This is an amazing cabin in an amazing location. It’s clean, well stocked, and very cozy. It’s hard to beat this for an extended stay in Yosemite!

The cabin had everything we needed. The gas fireplace was very cosy. And the wifi got fixed in time for my meeting! The proximity to Yosemite Valley was a huge plus.

The cabin is exactly what we wanted! A clean place to stay that was both comfortable and close to Yosemite Valley. (25 minutes) We were able to access the whole park for day hiking. Most areas for hikingwere with an hour or less. Steve, our host, was easy to get a hold of if you had any questions or concerns. Great cabin in Yosemite National Park!

Property was clean with the appropriate amount of amenities (including cooking). Property was conveniently located inside Yosemite National Park. Steve (owner) was very responsive and was always available for questions, etc.

Beautiful cabin at the top of a hill in the middle of Yosemite. Easy access to all Yosemite destinations. Beautiful grounds. Excellent host, responds almost instantly to questions and anticipates potential issues and communicates proactively (eg detours outside the Park due to wildfires). Would stay again, his Moab, UT house is equally nice. .

House was clean but there was a definite musty smell. We had to leave the windows open all day try to make it go away. It smelled like old clothes in a thrift store. I think it came from the couch and closet. I looked under the couch and it was all dusty as if it hadn't been moved in a long time. Also, the power went out about 10 minutes after we got there and took 3 hours to come back on.

Host was very responsive, cabin was great. Stayed cool at night during a heat wave, great location inside the park. Exactly what we needed for a fun time in Yosemite. Kids loved having movies to watch in the the evening.

We stayed in Sage cabin for 3 nights. Great communication from Steve made the arrival process straightforward. Directions to cabin were spot on although Google maps also found it. The cabin was ideal, around 25 mins easy drive from Yosemite Village which allowed us to relax away from the busy areas in the evenings. We found Foresta Falls on a nice walk from the cabin. Such a peaceful place, loved seeing amazing stars and hearing the sounds of nature at night. Would highly recommend this cabin, or the one next door. Thanks.

This cabin was perfect for our family (two adults and one preteen). The cabin is located just outside of the valley and was a very easy drive to the valley, glacier point road and Tioga road. It was very quiet. Plenty of space for us between hikes or drives. The host was very communicative and accommodated some special needs we had. I would love to stay here again and would HIGHLY recommend!!!

Great location with a comfortable and efficient layout

We could not have asked for a better place to stay during our 8 days in Yosemite. 10 minutes from Tunnel View and Bridalveil Falls, yet completely isolated from the madness of the crowds. Clean, well equipped, convenient, and QUIET place to stay. Owner was very helpful with directions, instructions, questions, etc. Absolutely Perfect!

Wonderful little cabin in the woods with everything we needed for our time in Yosemite after spending the day hiking around. Close drive to the valley. Cabin has all the essential items for cooking, and relaxing. The only thing I would recommend is a basic first aid kit with band aids. Just in case. Other than that it’s perfect!

This cabin is the perfect little retreat in the forest, offering excellent access to all the major sights in Yosemite National Park. Check-in was a breeze, and we appreciated having a second key to carry with us during our stay. The property was spotless and incredibly quiet—truly peaceful. It had every amenity we needed for a comfortable, no-fuss stay inside the park.We’ll definitely be back!

We’ve just returned from a 4 night stay in the Sage cabin.Comfortable and practical cabin within easy reach of the valley (20 min drive or so, with some spectacular viewpoints along the way). The cabin is in a very peaceful, secluded area, perfect for relaxing after a days hiking. Bed very comfy and our son happily slept in the sofa bed with no issues.Communication from the host was 1st class, prompt replies to all our messages and clear guidance on access/directions were sent a few days in advance of arrival. Would absolutely recommend this place *****

Steve was a wonderful host and helped answer all of our concerns as we were traveling during a snow storm and we stayed an extra day and delayed going on the day of the storm. The cabin was a great location and we loved how quiet the cabin was and the stars were so amazing to view. The cabin was clean and well equipped.

Outstanding place to stay! So unique to be inside Yosemite Park! This was a birthday gift for our grand daughter. We also took along out 92 year old mother. We played in the snow. Viewed waterfalls and all the sights. We even got many outstanding pictures of the firefall which only happens three weekends a year. Made hamburgers one night and tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches the next night. Played card games and watched movies. So much fun!!

This place is perfect for a small family to have as a starting point for a Yosemite adventure. We were minutes from curry village and yet had great access to Wiwona The elevation is similar to the valley so we were snow free while higher altitudes got snow. If you’re looking for a quiet place to sleep and yet have great access to Yosemite valley this is the place for you

Absolutely loved the cabin. Inside the park so you don't go through check in every day. Quick drive to the valley and on the route to the highlands. All amenities were great. Nothing but positives to say.

This was our fourth stop of our road trip and it was well worth it. The place has everything you need on a getaway. close to the valley and tucked away from the crowds. Steve was great and very personable we will hopefully be back again next year! keep up the great work!

Only 30 minutes to the Valley floor, amazing location. Perfect for 3-4 people. Has a space for kids to sleep. Overall would come here again anytime I can. Plenty of cookware and amenities for food and dining .

My wife and I had a wonderful four nights at this cabin. It was close to the valley and allowed us to go all over the park.

We loved staying at Sage Cabin while visiting Yosemite. It’s within the Park so you don’t need reservations and it’s close to Yosemite Valley and a reasonable drive to other parts of the Park. Clean, quiet, very responsive host. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sage cabin - it was clean and comfortable, there's room in the loft with three folding mattresses, where one teen slept happily and the other used the side of the sofa, so we didnt even need to open the sofa bed. Foresta is a great base for yosemite exploration, and we cooked our own meals in tje cabin, we had all the equipment we needed there.a real find, so glad we got to stay here! Thanks Steve!

Saved at least an hour each day staying on the NPS. Cabin has easy access to upper part of park and the valley.
