One of the most beautiful, comfortable, and fun cabins we've stayed in. Perfectly appointed and positioned in the best spot on the loop, our stay was wonderful. Our host was welcoming and made sure we had all information needed for a memorable stay. Our kids asked to come back before our stay was over.

The host has great communication and is available to help and answer questions during the stay. The amenities are wonderful and they really supply a full kitchen with everything needed to make any kind of home cooked meal and baking. The home was clean and comfortable.

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin! The space was comfortable, clean, and perfect for our group. The layout gave everyone enough room to relax and enjoy their own space. The home’s location was ideal, making it easy to reach all our planned stops. We really appreciated the thoughtful details and easy communication with the host. Tony and Sara were so pleasant to work with while booking their charming cabin and upon check in the communication was very smooth. Everything was as is pictured in way of accommodation's and amenities. Plenty of space for family gatherings inside and outside and privacy for when you want to wind down on your own. Whether siting outside in the several areas of the property from upper and lower decks and hot tub area. Everything was clean and orderly just like my own home. We enjoyed our short wkend so much and hope to come back soon for a longer stay. Their recommendations for things to do outside of the park were on point. Good quiet location with nearness to Yosemite.

The cabin was very nice and quiet. If you’re looking for quiet solitude this is the place. We all enjoyed our short stay.

A great location, in a beautiful setting, we loved being close to town and the yosemite, owners communicated quickly and were very kind.The property furnishing is on the old side, it is functional but no glitz and glamor, if you are ok with that, it would be a great spot.

This cabin was all that we expected! Very close to Yosemite, perfect space for family of 6, very clean, hosts were very friendly & caring.Reaching the cabin was a little shocking - took some narrow roads with sharp turns. Glad our vehicle wasn’t any bigger (Jeep Wagoneer).

The cabin is as so comfortable and in a lovely setting nestled amongst the trees. All the amenities were awesome, especially the hot tub and the movie screen sized tv. Beds were comfortable and sheets were so soft. The hosts were very helpful in pointing out things to see and do in the area. Great memories were made.

Stayed for 3 nights. Very close to Yosemite. Would recommend for couple or a large family. Will definitely book again!!

Amazing cabin and location! Rented to accommodate 2 families and in laws. Didn’t think we’d use the hot tub but it was SO nice after a day hiking in the Mariposa Grove in Yosemite. Close to the Sugar Pine Railroad and restaurants in Oakhurst. Under an hour drive to Mariposa, CA where we did an e-bike tour with YosemiteEBiking.org - also recommend them. Cabin itself was large, clean and comfortable. The upstairs master suit with natural lighting and views of the surrounding woods was amazing. Large kitchen and breakfast bar to accommodate group dining and games. We brought some board games and were pleased they had several board games in the pantry to choose from. My daughter (11y) loved the loft bed in the basement and the full wall projection screen to stream Netflix on. Oh and the giant bean bag chairs - she wants us to buy one for her bedroom now! Host was very responsive to messages. They sent turn by turn instructions with photos of street signs and landmarks as GPS doesn’t get you all the way there. VRBO did not send us the access code to the house, but host got in touch to help us check in quickly. I’d make sure you communicate before traveling here to make sure you have the access code - I was expecting a message that didn’t come. I blame the app, but that’s the only reason I gave 4 stars on check in process. Highly recommend this property.

The house was everything advertised and more. Perfect for just sitting around the firepit with friends. The hot tub was fantastic and big screen projector tv was great to watch movies. The location between Yosemite and Oakhurst was convenient. The hosts, Sara and Tony, were very accommodating and made our stay unforgettable.

Great Spot, Unfortunate Outage, Excellent Host!We absolutely loved our stay at this VRBO! The location was fantastic, offering easy access to everything we wanted to see and do. The house itself was wonderful - clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. We especially appreciated the detailed instructions provided by Tony, which made settling in a breeze. Tony was an incredibly thoughtful host and even offered us some tickets to a nearby event, which was a really generous gesture.Unfortunately, our stay was impacted by a widespread power outage that affected the entire town (or possibly the county) for one night there. However, Tony was exceptionally responsive to the situation. He was quick to communicate and immediately sent someone out to get the generator started for us, which was a huge help.If it hadn't been for the power outage (something completely out of anyone's control), our stay would have been absolutely perfect. We were very impressed with Tony's attentiveness and willingness to help despite the circumstances. We would still recommend this property, especially knowing you have such a proactive and helpful host.

The place was amazing with lots of accommodations and a heck of a view.

We loved our stay at the cabin in the forest. It was a great location for exploring Yosemite while still being close to the grocery store and town amenities. The cabin was very comfortable and nicely furnished and was exactly as pictured. We loved our time sitting out on the deck and in the hot tub. The owners were great and very helpful and responsive at all times.

Son turning 35 wanted a day in Yosemite. And he loves hot tubs! This house is on the better-than-the pictures list, in the middle of the woods. Owne Tony very attentive to our arrival (had heat on), and throughout weekend. Plenty of parking for multiple cars. Enough seating in the family room for five adults to lounge (my son’s girlfriend said “this couch is a hugger”). The primary bedroom upstairs is an instant retreat. The kitchen had room and all the things for cooking, and just outside a lovely outside area (fire pit w seating, b’que, hot tub). The downstairs had two bedrooms for our sons to have their time together. After a day in Yosemite, marveling at so many things, including El Capitan (one son is a rock climber), we spent out last evening together watching “Free Solo” (documentary about man climbing El Cap with no ropes) on the theatre screen downstairs was icing on the cake of a perfect weekend. We were all bummed to have to leave for our real lives. This cabin in the woods needs more than a two night stay!

The property was well maintained and had plenty of all the essentials. Tony called on our first night to check that we had everything we needed. He was also very helpful with suggestions for sightseeing, restaurants and other services. The big screen tv on the 1st floor was super for the football games. Hot tub was a big hit too! Great stay!

Charming cabin in very quiet neighborhood. Very clean and well equipped. Checkin process was smooth and the owner was very responsive when we had a couple of issues with the electronic locks. Great layout of the kitchen and family room, two big tables. The deck is fabulous, large and with good tables. We didn’t use the tvs or big theatre room downstairs but they all seemed nice. One thing to be aware of: the bedrooms are either upstairs or downstairs, and there are very steep and in a couple of spots, narrow stairs. This isn’t a good cabin for people with mobility issues. Moving luggage downstairs is especially tough.

It was a clean, fantastic setting. Views were amazing. It was convenient to town and local attractions. Our favorite time was around the fire pit on the deck. The only downside? We enjoyed outside so much, we did not experience some of the good things inside; the movie theater for example. We would absolutely book this again.

It is a very nice and quiet place to stay with families and friends. I definitely will book again in the future if I am to visit Yosemite Park.

We could not be happier that we chose this place to bring our 16 year old grandson for his first visit to Yosemite! The house has so much charm and character— a perfect cabin in the woods but with amenities you would not expect like a hot tub and a theater room. The house was an extension of our experience at Yosemite, not just a place to stay. Highly recommend!!

We loved our stay at Sugar Pine. Cabin was comfortable, clean, and the amenities made the time we spent resting in the cabin fabulous. The cabin is located on a steep hill, which was a little uncomfortable for my older mother to explore the outdoor areas, but was PERFECT for hikes down to the creek for those of us more sure on our feet. Also located close to grocery and other amenities.
