Stayed Mar 15, 2026We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this property. All of the beds are really comfortable with nice thick curtains that keep the morning sun out ( all bedrooms face west which helps too). We enjoyed hanging out in the common areas and outside. Just a few items could be improved for future visitors. The biggest one is that the hot tub is slow to heat up, so we weren’t able to use it at all our first night. We were staying in mid-March and it wasn’t incredibly cold. We had no issue using it the rest of our stay. The games were also in need of a refresh as the boxes for the games they had weren’t even there ( missing pieces and or missing the entire board). Finally the kitchen didn’t have pot holders or any sort of cookie sheet which made it challenging to use the oven. Note that if you book this place it is a solid 7 minutes to the main road, and a lot of that is on unpaved roads. It is very quiet and pleasant at the property, and it is a great location for getting to Beavers Bend State Park while avoiding all the traffic.

Stayed Aug 15, 2025Beautifully decorated and set up. You’ll have to drive on dirt/gravel roads for 1-2 miles to get there but you are very secluded and it is private and lovely.

Stayed Nov 27, 2024We had a great time hiking, fishing and sightseeing!! I would have loved to give them 5 stars but because of trash issue I couldn’t!! The house was nice but when we arrived there was trash all over the front yard. I did reach out to host and Vacana rental company to let them about the trash. They did respond and apologized but no one came to pick up trash so everyday we had to clean up because the animals would tear the bags open!!
