Wilderness Retreat Cabin- Lg Game Room, Private Hot Tub; 1 Mile to Thunder Ridge

Game room & hot tub were great. Enjoyed playing pool while watching the final four!

Everything was terrific about the cabin! Very clean and comfortable throughout! The hot tub and pool table were the most used items. It is in a lovely area that is not too busy, and yet there was a lot to do! The fact that the pool and the disc golf course were both open was an added bonus for us. We look forward to coming back again!

Amazing cabin! We had a great time staying here. All the amenities made it perfect. The hot tub, pool table, air hockey and wide range of games and movies made this the best place ever! Sitting on the back porch you can hear all kinds of birds! We loved having so much space and having 4 bathrooms was an added bonus. Everything you need to cook with was available in the kitchen and we enjoyed meals and games at the big table. Beds are very comfortable and we all slept great! Thank you for letting us stay!

Cabin was perfect for our needs, exactly as listed and very clean! Jennifer and Brenda were awesome to work with and were prompt to answer any questions we had. Everything we needed was included. Our group was all adults but there was a great area for kids & the pool area looked good as well. Definitely recomnend.

The cabin is minutes away from Big Cedar and Top Of The Rock. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and spacious - everything we wanted. The kids loved the game room. My wife and I appreciate great customer service and the customer service of the folks that own the cabin is the best we've had with a VRBO. We hope to rent from them again.

Great location for our family wedding in the area. Lots of space for everyone to rest and enjoy time together. Cabin was perfectly furnished and a great place to be.

My family has stayed in many cabins in this resort. Hands down this was the most responsive and pleasant host we have ever had.

The only issue I had was the outside was not very clean, and the furniture was dirty and outdated. But the inside was very clean

Upon arrival everything looked outstanding, I was very impressed. But I was taken back when I walked out to the back patio, sat down in a patio chair both hands full and the chair buckled on me sending me face down onto the patio floor, I'm 74 year's old, no serious injuries but alot of black and bluing and soreness. Again I fell going down stairs snaging on some carpet. I noticed some kitchen chairs needing repair and the whole guardrail going around the front and back patio either missing slats or loose. I was upset with the lack of maintenance especially for the prices I paid. However my family did not share my disappointment & for that I rate it a 5

Great venue for a family reunion. AC worked great--very important in July! Hot tub was enjoyed by many. The only area for improvement would be some better lighting. With all the wood grain on the walls and vaulted ceiling, any light from the ceiling fans and other lamps just gets lost. Not a big deal, but could really improve the atmosphere.Thanks for the great stay!!

This cabin was amazing, in a beautiful and scenic resort, super close to everything, very well maintained and well stocked, very clean, and lots of nice amenities. We loved staying here and would 100% stay here again. Highly recommend!

Good location. About 20 minutes away from things families want to do. Beautiful cabin. Just needs a little extra attention to small details (ceiling fans, lights, light bulbs, cookware)

We spent 4 nights here! Our family played 3 of the golf courses at big cedar, and we took the kids downtown for their entertainment! We really enjoyed the cleanliness and layout of this cabin and the close proximity to big cedar! We will be returning and hopefully getting the same cabin! It was perfect!!!

It was spotless, and the host was not only very nice but also communicated well. The location was perfect—remote enough to feel like a getaway, yet close enough for DoorDash and UberEats delivery. Everything in the cabin was well maintained, and it was conveniently located near the Thunder Ridge venue for concerts

Just returning home from our first family vacation in Missouri. We were so pleased with our cabin! It's decorated beautifully and with such a historical and person touch. Cleanliness...excellent! Every room makes you feel like you're in a wilderness retreat. Game room with the pool table and air hockey was such a hit with kids and adults. Lots of space and room with the 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Kitchen had everything we needed for our meals for 13. Pool and it's amenities...excellent!! The wilderness retreat has so many of the details right. It helped make our family time together priceless!
