Summary:

Quaint historic cabin with hot tub and WiFi, this cozy Wild Bill`s cabin is a short distance from downtown and the mountains.

The Space:

You'll love this quaint, cozy and historic cabin.  You might take a hike or ski for the day before coming home or perhaps you enjoy the wildlife in the park right outside your front door. If you want to vacation under the Milky Way and literally wrap yourself in a little slice of Montana heaven, this cabin will do the trick. Once you are tucked in for the night this peaceful little home will calm your nerves and the hot tub (available year-round) will take care of those worries.  When you are ready, the comfy queen bed can help you with a good night sleep. This cabin sits next to many other historic cabins and the one right next door is Bears Inn which can be rented in conjunction with Wild Bill's Cabin. If you feel like venturing out, downtown Red Lodge sits only 5-6 blocks away and offers shopping, fine dining, great wine selections and local microbrew! There is room for one vehicle at this cabin. Come enjoy Red Lodge and have fun at Wild Bill Cabin!

Wild Bill's Cabin is 6.8 miles from Red Lodge Mountain

Guest Access:

Guest(s) have access to the entire home and all listed amenities. This home does have owner closet that is off limits to guests. The areas that are off limits are locked.

The Neighborhood:

Red Lodge, nestled in the foothills of the Beartooth Mountains, is a wonderful place to visit if you are looking for family fun, a place to touch the wild, or just a chance to let your hair down. Whether you are wearing Birkenstocks or cowboy boots, you will find something to do here. (Although downtown is paved and we even have sidewalks, Jimmy Choos are probably not a great idea!)

In winter the road ends here. Downhill skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, sledding and sleigh riding are just the short list of activities that you can do when visiting us.

In summer we revel in the Beartooth Pass opening. We are only 68 miles from Yellowstone Park, but plan on a good two hours` drive as the “Pass” is stunning in high mountain vistas, rocky cliffs, and jeweled lakes. The Custer National Forest is a haven for wildlife including elk, moose, mountain goats, big horn sheep, bears (black and grizzly), mountain lions and wolves. Golden marmots are often seen dashing across the trails. Golden and bald eagles often visit our area, as well as sandhill cranes and blue herons.

Getting Around:

Red Lodge has a taxi service and Uber for transportation in the area. Red Lodge does not have a commercial airport. Guest(s) can fly to area airports and drive to destination. Area airports and approximate distance to Red Lodge: Logan International Airport (BIL) 60 miles, Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) 147 miles, Yellowstone Regional Airport (YRA) 64 miles.

Other Things to Note:

No pets allowed. Guest(s) agrees not to have pets at the property. Unauthorized animals or evidence of an animal on property can result in a minimum fee of $250 and/or your reservation being cancelled without a refund.

The home is equipped with: bedding, pillows, towels, pots & pans, dishes, toilet paper & paper towels, garbage bags, dish soap, dishwasher soap, detergent for washer and propane or charcoal for the type of grill provided. No food or spices will be provided due to health regulations.

We provide a sample amount of soaps, shampoos, and lotion to get you started.

Red Lodge, Montana is a rural community that does offer internet and cell service throughout most geographic areas but, some locations are completely void of any internet or cell service. In town and within a 3-5 mile radius of downtown you will enjoy solid cell signal but during times when our population increases due to events, celebration (such as the Fourth of July), or emergency situations such as a wildfire you will notice that these online and cellular services slow down and sometimes, they can slow down to the point where you have to wait to place a call. We can’t do anything to help in these situations, so we encourage people to enjoy the freedom of being “unplugged” and to be patient.

Interaction with Guests:

Guest will receive emails prior to arrival date with directions and lock box code and pre-stay information.

Was a great stay, only problem was the step up in the cabin that tripped us up a few times...felt like we were not paying attention enough and realized we take for granted of even floors. Noone got hurt and thankful for it.

This is our third time staying with AAA Red Lodge Rentals on the edge of a lovely Main Street and within view of the mountains. We walk to restaurants and shops and drive only a few minutes to trailheads and the awesome Beartooth Pass. What could be better?

Wow, Wild Bill‘s cabin was pretty it fits the perfect Bill. Small but like the separate rooms would’ve preferred not tripping over the entrance to the bedroom and a little smoother mattress without a dip in the middle but other than that it was great. The property owners were Jonni on the spot with anything that we needed. Definitely appreciated that.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Red Lodge. Cabin in excellent location with easy access to downtown. Cabin was clean and met our needs. If I had one recommendation it would be to definitely upgrade the coffee maker. Would suggest a k-pod style. Would definitely return.

Great little cabin with all the essentials needed. We cooked breakfast and lunch. The hot tub was wonderful and relaxing. The only thing I would suggest is salt and pepper and a pizza cutter. Thank you we will be back.
