We booked this cabin to ring in the new year with four generations of family. The main floor with the kitchen and master bedroom was perfect for the two 75 year olds who had no interest in climbing stairs all weekend. The basement gave my parents a quiet floor to themselves, and the upstairs was perfect with the kiddos' bunk room within earshot of mom and dad across the hall. The hot tub was a hit and my kids learned how to shoot pool better than everyone in the fam! The cabin was close enough for us to visit the Biltmore in Asheville, the Cataloochee Ski slopes, and the waterfall at Soco! I highly recommend staying here!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Whit's End...Beautiful property - the only negative was...we didn't stay long enough! Next time we'll schedule more time!
Very nice place with great views. Close to everything or just staying in works too. Only thing we had an issue with was the driveway...very steep and leaf covered so had to use 4 wheel drive. Other than that, definitely a great place and hope to go back again!
We had a wonderful time with the grandparents who flew in from Vegas to visit. The kids loved running around the wrap around porch, playing pool and walking around the property. We all enjoyed the hot tub and the close proximity to waynesville and Maggie valley. We even took a day trip to Dollywood!
Overall this property was great, everything worked, the hot tub was great. There were just a few things I would have liked more of such as towels and paper products.
This property was amazing! It was accurately described, very clean, wonderfully decorated and an awesome view of the pastures and surrounding hills! Our extended family had a perfect stay enjoying family time in the open kitchen, deck and hot tub. It was located in a nice, well kept quiet neighborhood. It is spacious and plenty of sleeping spaces and bathrooms for multiple couples. The management team was very responsive and easy to work with. It was hard to leave - we absolutely loved it !!!
Other than small check in issue with door code we had a great short stay. AC worked well and everyone had plenty of space.
This cabin is awesome!! It is everything the pictures show and more❤️The views are absolutely amazing the kitchen is equipped with everything you could need or want to be in a kitchen. The porches have an awesome view of the mountains and and a beautiful red barn. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. We had an awesome very relaxing weekend stay here!!
Our stay was great! Cabin was clean. Kid's had a blast. Would stay here again!
Property was clean, comfortable and as advertised. I would definitely go back!
Had a fantastic weekend at this home. Several families gathered with older HS kids to enjoy the local amenities - everyone enjoyed the firepit , hot tub, pool table, table for working puzzles and large open main floor for meals and hanging out. Ideal for skiing , going to Asheville, or just relaxing. Owner very responsive to needs. Bring your own firewood - the indoor one is gas. Would love to return!
Overall oustanding
We spent Thanksgiving weekend at this well accommodated and tastefully decorated cabin with our family of 12. Easy access off I-40 and picturesque views of the countryside with mountains in background made the stay wonderful. S’mores and hot dogs by the fire pit and our trip to the Polar Express in Bryson City made a memorable weekend. We couldn’t have had asked for a better place to have stayed!
Rented this property to celebrate my mom's birthday. The house was a great fit for our whole family. We enjoyed the views and the kids loved the Foosball table. The location was great too! High enough for great views but still close to restaurants.
We rented this property for our children and grandchildren to stay while attending a wedding. I loved the layout with the master bedroom on the main floor, 2 bedrooms upstairs, and another on the bottom floor. Plenty of room for our party of 11. The wraparound porch literally wraps around the entire house with ample seating for all and magnificent views. We all loved the view of the cow pasture way below the house and we even had a wild turkey strut around very close to the house. Grandkids loved the hot tub and foosball table. The kitchen was very well equipped with great cookware, and basic pantry staples so we enjoyed cooking a few meals. Fire pit was wonderful and we so enjoyed sitting outside at night having a cocktail and making s’mores. I would highly recommend this home and would definitely rent again. Check in was super simple and owner even reached out the day before our arrival to touch base.
