Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our family (2 adults, 2 kids ages 10 and 12) shared this great cabin for a week in July 2015. It is everything you are looking for in a quiet, secluded getaway but close to all the conveniences of town. Whitefish was only about 25 minutes away, a great place to explore, shop and eat. We explored The great views and scenery on the Going to the Sun road in Glacier National Park. We climbed to the top of Big Mountain in Whitefish and rode the ski lift down the mountain. We also explored to the beaches and cliffs of the local Tally Lake. The cabin was well appointed with a great open floor plan and loft. The boys loved the loft! Tons of family friendly DVDs for that one rainy afternoon that you just don't feel like going out in, so you can just enjoy the cabin and it's surroundings. Deer and curious chipmunks visited everyday. These are the only neighbors you have to worry about!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The location was very private and scenic, but close enough to Whitefish. The cabin was clean and the furnishings were great.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969A beautiful property & a wonderful place to enjoy the serenity & beauty of Montana. The back deck was a perfect place to look out & watch for deer, enjoy a meal, or read a book. Very relaxing with everything you need to cook, etc. If we are back in the Whitefish area again, we will definitely be back!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My wife and I just stayed at The Log Cabin in the Woods along with our best friends. We left 8/28/2014 but all wished we could have stayed longer! The cabin was exactly as shown on the listing. Very clean and had everything we needed to prepare meals. Very quite which is just what we wanted. Still, only a short drive to Whitefish. About 40 minutes to the airport. Thanks Carren for being so helpful. Would recommend the cabin to family/friends for sure!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed at the Log Cabin in the Woods the week of our son's wedding. It was wonderful to have a place outside of town to have family get togethers and to just relax. The cabin had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable. We enjoyed watching the deer every night as they came into the yard to enjoy the grain we put out. With Whitefish and Big Mountain only a short drive away we were also able to go enjoy some activities in town. Next time we vacation in Whitefish we will definitely consider staying here again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Wonderful cabin in secluded but accessible area (but would probably need 4WD in winter months), but very accessible in general. Great for a quiet setting away from tourist areas. Cabin has everything you need, really a nice little house; efficient, clean, beautiful. Lovely upstairs loft w/bathroom, downstairs extra bed and washer/dryer. Beautiful leather sofas, lovely furnishings. Great patio and huge cabin windows for watching deer; so great for barbecues! Commutes to Glacier National Park West entrance in a little over an hour, so get unlimited mileage if renting a car. No WiFi, but that's easy to pick up in town of Whitefish, 20 minutes away. Owners very nice and accommodating, answer all questions quickly. Nice location for extended stay as well. This was a lovely stay!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This cabin and location were absolutely perfect for our June honeymoon. The cabin is comfortable and beautiful, we enjoyed the seclusion, and we saw mule deer and other wildlife every single day from the patio! We particularly enjoyed the breathtaking view that greeted us each morning. It is an easy distance from Glacier National Park and from the Canadian border, without having to stay in a more crowded town. The cabin is both secluded (we did not get phone reception, and no internet, which was a nice change of pace) and a short drive from groceries and restaurants in Whitefish. The owner is very considerate, and had coffee and firewood ready for us when we arrived, along with dining recommendations. We would definitely recommend this cabin for a romantic getaway or for a family vacation!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This sweet little gem was a piece of heaven. It was so private and cozy. We travelled with my parents and two young children and we loved the property, the house, everything. The home was spacious, very comfortable sleeping and lots of space for everyone.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My wife and I stayed here for an extended period of time and really appreciated the beauty and tranquility of the house and it's location. The house is beautifully decorated, the backyard has deer that frequent it daily, and there are bike trails and Tally Lake nearby. Definitely a place to reflect on the more simple aspects of life while living in the indoor comforts at night!
