So quiet and peaceful! Love the porches and set up of the house. Lovely property

Very nice cabin on the river. Close to everything we wanted to do but far enough out to be away from the hustle of the city. The host was very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would stay here again if we visit Helen in the future.

The cottage was immaculate and well-decorated. We would like to come back in the summer because it looks like a great place to swim, too. Feels very secluded but an easy drive in. We're grateful they let us bring our dog. This might sound weird, but something I liked about the house was that the light switches made sense, and they were all convenient and easy to find. I've never been in a rental place before where that is the case. We loved using the gas fireplaces when it got below freezing. Very cozy and warm!

A comfortable clean cabin, felt like a home away from home with all the added extras. The property itself was private and large, with access to the river at the back. The location is also great for Helen and other surrounding attractions. The owners were responsive and great hosts. They did everything they could to make sure our stay was perfect.

You won't regret booking this property! It has everything you need for an amazing get away. It is clean, spacious and the location can't be beat with only a short drive to downtown Helen for the touristy stuff. The backyard with the slide into the river is icing on the cake and they provide tubes and kayaks on site! We will definitely be back! Thank you Nancy, it was a blast!

we were extremely pleased with this property. Everything was just perfect, so clean and comfortable. We would certainly recommend this property to family and friends. Our visit was cut short by the illness of my sister back in TN, but we thoroughly enjoyed a stay.

The good:The location was convenient.The river is awesome.The porches are great.The Wifi is solid.The bad:The beds and pillows are ancient.The showers are mediocre at best.There is not one sharp knife in the house. Literally.Getting into the river is tough. The bottom rung of the ladder is high, so getting in and out is difficult.The apps on the TVs (Netflix, youtube, etc) didn't work, and the DirectTV was spotty.There are little notes everywhere. The homeowner wants to micromanage your stay pretty strictly.The experience with the host was not great. They charged me extra to bring my three small dogs, and then spent the entire check-out day accusing me of leaving the house trashed. I'm going to attach screen shots of the conversation I had with the host on our way home. She insisted that we left the house in such a mess that the cleaning would take longer than the four-hour clean that's included in the charges, but the only evidence she could come up with is pictures of two small dust piles and a stack of pots and pans that were put away in the wrong cupboards. They didn't provide a vacuum, charged me extra knowing I had more than the one dog they usually allow, and still spent the whole day and next couple days complaining about the condition I left the house in. We didn't leave the house dirty, and her conduct after we left really soured the whole experience. I would definitely not rent from them again.

My family and I had an amazing time. The home is right on the river with a swing overlooking. The home was spotless. This was our first VRBO experience and it was amazing. I appreciated how peaceful it was. Tucked away made you feel far enough from the surrounding towns, but close enough to visit. We went tubing down the Chattahoochee River, explored downtown Helen, road the mountain coaster, hiked to Anna Ruby Falls, made snores and hotdogs by the fire pit, and tried new restaurants. Will definitely look to book again.

Had a good stay here, if your just looking for peace and quiet and looking to get away from the busy city life, this is def the location for you.

Our family (My Spouse, Myself, Daughter, Son-in-Law and Grandson) were looking for a quick getaway to Helen for Fall Break. This property was perfect for that. The cottage is very nice. It was very clean and had plenty of room for all of us. It was secluded and quiet but with a short drive, we were in Helen. The pictures in this listing are accurate - maybe they don't convey the full effect of just how cute the cottage is. We spent lots of time on the covered deck, in the hot tub and sitting around the firepit down by the river. The owners were very informative and helpful when we booked this location. We could not have found a better place for our family getaway!

This place is perfect. We really enjoyed ourselves. Everything that you could ever need was provided.

This cabin was everything we needed for a much needed family getaway! The kids thoroughly enjoyed the cabin and hot tub during the times it rained and couldn’t get enough of swimming in the river, looking for rocks to skip, and scouting for little fish swimming along the rocky bottom! The river had a slow and smooth flow which was great for the kids to swim around in and not be carried away and there was plenty of areas for them to still touch and walk in the water as well. The cabin location gives a nice feeling of being remote while still affording the close proximity of getting to nearby shopping centers and restaurants as well! Amazingly pleased with everything this trip afforded our family and will definitely be keeping it save for future trips!

Loved this property! Beautiful inside and out. The swing at the river was the perfect spot to start your day with a cup of coffee or spend the entire day. My family loved the easy access to the river. The location is perfect. Just 20 minutes and you can be in Helen or Cleveland. Literally all you need to do is bring clothes and food and everything else you need is already there. The pictures do not do this beautiful little cabin justice.
