We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property, which was ideal for our two families, each with two young children. The layout provided ample space, accommodating everyone comfortably. We particularly appreciated having separate tables available: one for dining and another for gaming, which added convenience to our stay. The couch was comfortable for lounging, making it a great spot to relax after a day of activities. While the TV placement was a bit unconventional, serving as a divider for the main living space, it ultimately functioned well. The property also featured a hot tub, offering a relaxing experience with a beautiful river view and soothing sounds. The kitchen was well-stocked, which was convenient for preparing meals during our stay. Additionally, the neighborhood was quiet, providing a peaceful environment.Overall, this property is excellent and highly recommended for anyone visiting Packwood. We used it as a home base for skiing at White Pass and would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at this cabin was everything we hoped for and more. Tucked right along the river with views that belong on a postcard, this place gave us the perfect balance of nature, comfort, and relaxation. Waking up to the sound of the water and sipping coffee with that view? Instant reset.Check-in was a breeze, and communication with the host was absolutely great—responsive, helpful, and kind. We were a group of 7 and fit comfortably, with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy. The hot tub was a hit—major bonus points for being covered, so the fun didn’t stop with a little drizzle. The kitchen had most of what we needed, though we’d recommend adding a few baking dishes for future guests. Thankfully, the silver baking sheets came through like heroes when it mattered.Between the fresh air, the cozy home, and the easy access to Mount Rainier just up the road, we left with full hearts (and phones full of photos). Would absolutely stay again!

I really enjoyed this cabin! It is right in the river and so perfect. The deck is so large and lovely, and there are heaters on it to enjoy it all year round. The kitchen is well stocked with supplies, and the hot tub was great. My only complaint is that the fireplace outside didn’t work and would t stay lit. I believe it is broken. But since there were 2 heaters we still enjoyed the deck without it!

This property was perfect for our family. It held all seven of us comfortably. The coffee and hot water pot with teas were a nice touch. I felt it showed that the owner went above and beyond to make the stay special. There were a few things that I felt would have made the stay nicer. But, overall it was a really good experience and we enjoyed our stay.

Great home for a group of friends after hiking. Enjoyed the hot tub, view of elk near the water, and kitchen for cooking. A bit of hair from the group before in the bathrooms was not appreciated. The extra cost for either early check in or check out felt excessive for a property that was $700 for the night.

This is a great option for a group of people or a family that would like to be near the park! Big backyard for kids to play and have fun! Very clean and remodeled home with some up-to-date appliances and a big OLED TV! The family really enjoyed the hot tub as well! It was always nice to see deer or elk come across the property too!

We thoroughly enjoyed the property and its proximity to Packwood. It was perfect point for a few days of exploration around Mount Rainier. Be sure to get your timed entry to the sites online ahead of time. We suggest Sunrise entrance for unparalleled views of the surrounding area. Highly recommend Cruiser’s for breakfast and the Blue Spruce Saloon and Diner for lunch or dinner.

This home was a great one night stay for a large group, we loved the river access and ample beds. We happened to be there on a hot day - the downstairs stayed very cool from the AC but the two bedrooms upstairs stayed very warm. The kitchen was also lacking a few things we needed to make dinner (a regular size cookie sheet and cutting board). Check in was simple and hosts were communicative!
