The view was great and the lake was awesome. Come prepared because the average on getting to a store is 20 minutes.

a lovely spot for friends and us to spend a casual weekend. Host was very informative about area attractions and restaurants. comfortable space. the fireplace was great and the view of the lake was amazing - even covered in snow!

We had a fantastic weekend. Great location. Quiet and right on a lake. The fire pit was great. We had fun trying to fish right off the dock in the back yard. We saw a lot of deer on and around the property. It’s a quick drive to Bushkill falls and there are several spots close by to access parts of the Delaware Water Gap. The house has a lot of updated features and a well-equipped kitchen. Having linens and towels supplied really cut down on packing as well. We made use of the indoor community pool which the kids enjoyed as they await summer. There were a few minor things that the owner made sure were addressed quickly and was very easy to communicate with whenever we had a question. In all, a very nice weekend at a very nice property. Could definitely see the appeal during any season.

Pet friendly, needs a little TLC but overall great place. We would stay again!

House is exactly like it is described in the listing and very clean. We stayed with 2 adults and 6 kids. The space fit us perfectly. The beach area is only a short walk from the house and that was nice. Host is easy to got in contact with. Would definitely recommend to others and would definitely stay again.

Good communication and easy check in process. It was peaceful being on the water and we enjoyed canoeing and fishing from the dock. There were so many deer around the property! The chalet was comfortable and quaint. Exceeded my expectations.

Comfortable and clean house with an awesome lake view. We spent a lot of time on the dock and enjoyed the numerous deer that walked through the property.

Nice location and setup very relaxing and plenty of deer . Very quiet but the a/c wasn’t up to the ninety plus temperatures that were around. Was only one day, but would have been nicer if it wasn’t last minute and we stayed longer. Outside of the a/c we had a nice time

Really a beautiful lake house that needs some love.When we arrived we were pleasantly happy.As we went to the lake ( backyard) we noticed that the outdoor seating was a bit old and dirty.Also to get out the canoe onto the lake had tree branches and kind of complicated for us to go out.Other then these issues we loved the lake house.

The place is pretty and located in a quiet neighborhood. However, the indoor space is much smaller than I expected. The sofa bed is placed right next to another bed, so be prepared—it's not like sofa bed in a living room where everyone can have their own privacy. Also, the mattress is definitely on the soft side—too soft, in fact. I sank into it and couldn't sleep well all night. The TV is from last century I think. Considering the price, I feel there may be better options available.

Our family had a very nice stay at Lake Haven. We saw deer every single day, plus squirrels, birds, raccoons, mink, and turtles. We loved sitting on the lakeside deck (it's not quite a dock as it does not extend over the water like most docks do). The house is nicely appointed and the kitchen is well stocked with pots, glassware, etc. The downstairs beds seemed to roll around, but I suppose our older kids may toss & turn in their sleep. My husband and I slept in the loft bedroom. The bed in the loft was really awful, and we kept rolling towards the middle and towards each other. Our backs were sore every morning, but we're used to our sleep number bed at home, so that's probably why we found the bed to be so uncomfortable. Other folks might find the bed to be fine. Otherwise, we had a lovely week at this rental and would consider coming back in the future.

Great place, but need few updates

We loved our stay at Lake Haven. If anything the photos don't do justice to how quiet and beautiful the place is. Foliage, peaceful lake - often roaming deer - just outside the windows. Lots of walking trails short drives away. And a great place to settle in for both work and rest. Well equipped kitchen. Light filled house.

My family and I plus my dog took a long weekend away to enjoy the fall weather. This house is amazing in the morning to enjoy your coffee on the outside deck or lake side deck. The 2 downstairs beds are very soft to the point you sink in. That’s the only area of improvement. 10 minutes from Bushkill falls- great place to go and relax.

We had a fabulous time at the Lake Haven chalet! I went with my sisters and cousins for a nostalgic trip to Bushkill Falls. The chalet was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed time at the fire pit by the lake. The owner was very responsive. I would highly recommend this place!

Everything was satisfactory except the mattresses on beds need to be replaced. We felt they were all uncomfortable.

The house is very open and spacious. The kitchen and bathrooms were very new and clean. The beds are comfortable. The air conditioning is all new and are split type state of the art type. We spent several hours a day at the dock at the beautiful lake. I would play my acoustic guitar and Theresa would read her book. Several days I took the canoe out on the the lake. Reminded me of my Boy Scout days years ago. The kitchen has new appliances including a dish washer. There is a TV on the main floor and a smaller one in the loft bedroom . Each day we would take a walk on the roadways around the community. It is a very quiet, tranquil place. We went to Bushkill Falls and did the hike. There are restaurants nearby. A particular interesting place was the Tom X Pub off of rt 209 just 15 minutes from the house. The high ceiling in the main room gives a good open feeling to just being there... You see the trees and lake out the wall of windows. I recommend this property if your looking for a quiet, calm , get-away in the woods at the lake. Take a look at the photos on the vrbo.

We wanted to get away somewhere quiet for hiking and rafting and somewhere we can take our dog with us. The house was beautiful and perfect for our needs. Patrick was super attentive and quick to respond when necessary. Would definitely come back to this property again

The access to the property is at the end of a steep, loose ground shale stones, with dips and trees. difficult for older people to get close to the steps to enter the house. . The drive way the queen bed is located in the loft which is a steep stairway to access.The kitchen is clean,new and the furniture in the living room is clean and comfortable. The TV functions with a large number of cable programs. The deck that sits on the edge of the lake is not painted and needs repair. The chairs on the deck had algae. The canoe was very heavy and not positioned in a easy to use place. We could not use it. No Sheets and towels without added pay. We were responsible not the host to drive to the clubhouse to pick up tags that permitted us to park in the community. The recreation room had a pool table and ping pong table and a poor air quality in the room . No mention that indoor pool is closed until the winter. We were very disappointed, The washing machine had towels in it and was never removed. The building overall needs external repairs and paint. The host was not as congenial as we expected, Sadly, I would not chose to come back to this location again.

Property is excellent. We had a very nice 3 day stay prior to my wife's spinal surgery. The grounds are beautiful with excellent views if the lake, a peaceful dock on the lake where you can sit and relax and well as a spacious deck overlooking the lake. Deer walking all over the premises and neighborhood are magnificent. We had an issue with the TV in the Master Bedroom not working properly when we arrived. Notified owner who had me contact local cable company and the cable company could not resolve the issue; however, a maintenance man was sent the next day and he was able to install new cables from the wall to the TV and these resolved the issue. Other than that the cabin/chalet was very nice and enjoyable to stay in.

Everything was great except how you get into the water. No dock, just a deck and lots of sharp rocks. Tried to contact property manager in regards to outside faucet, but didn't hear from him till a day before we had to clean up and leave.
