This was such a beautiful property. It was a bit more challenging to get to it than we thought it would be. But, it was definitely worth it!

Perfect location, easy access to the cabin. A good overall cleaning would be nice, the blinds need to be cleaned or replaced, and a set of pots and pans would be beneficial because we cooked most of our meals there . Plenty of dishes, glasses, coffee cups, etc. Lovely deck, fire pit area at the creek was great. It wasn’t time to have the fireplaces in use, but wish it had been ! Overall, very nice cabin and grounds.

My family and I took a quick getaway before the start of the new school year to celebrate a birthday, and this cabin was perfect for our needs. The house was lovely—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We loved the peaceful solitude of the location while still being close enough to explore both Ellijay and Blue Ridge. We enjoyed nearby hiking trails and went whitewater rafting, then returned to relax in the comfort and convenience of the cabin. It was the perfect balance of adventure and downtime. Even our dogs had a blast—plenty of space to roam and relax. We’d definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy mountain cabin! The setting is magical—right on a large creek that looks more like a river. The sound of the rushing water from the back porch set the tone for peaceful moments—perfect for morning coffee and evening wine. The cabin itself is warm, comfortable, and inviting, with a lovely indoor fireplace, an outdoor fireplace, and even a fire pit right by the creek. The cabin is also wonderfully dog-friendly! They even provided a clean, cozy dog bed and bowls, which was such a thoughtful touch. The kitchen could use a little TLC. It’s well-appointed, but many of the drawers and pull-out shelves were off track and tricky to use, which made cooking a bit of a hassle. The creekside fire pit was a highlight, but getting down there with firewood was a challenge. The backyard is steep and rugged, with rocks and roots, and it’s pitch dark at night. It’s manageable if you’re fit, but could be tricky for anyone of advanced age or with mobility issues. Some terracing or steps would make a big difference in accessibility and safety. That said, the beauty, comfort, dog-friendliness, and peaceful vibe of this place far outweighed the few inconveniences. We’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing mountain escape—just be ready for a bit of a climb if you want to enjoy the creek up close!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. It overlooks the River, which was great for sitting on the porches and also listening to it. Well appointed kitchen, nicely decorated and comfortable furniture. Liked the gas fireplaces on both levels. Would definitely return!Only 10 minutes to town and several wineries (Buckley, Roo) and a farm store (Mountain Valley Farm) are all within 3-5 miles. Caveats: the drive to it is up gravel road which had muddy ruts and standing water after stormy day. Made it up just fine in suv that was not 4 wheel drive. Follow directions from rental company very closely to find it and be cautious coming in after dark. The fire pit area by the river is scenic but a long walk down that can be slippery on stairs and path. Exercise caution.

Excellent cabin. Well furnished, clean, and comfortable. Great beds. Special porch with sounds of the river. Pretty steep decent to the river and even slightly mobility-impaired folks will not likely want to try it. However, once down there it is a wonderful spot to relax. We were at the cabin during Hurricane Helene. Much rain, wind not too bad, creek was running fast, cabin stood up to it all with no problems.

The house fit our needs perfectly, everyone had a place to call their own and we had plenty of spots to gather for meals, game playing and tv watching. Very close to the down town area for meals made it nice. Kitchen had all that we needed to prepare one nice meal in and a lovely breakfast. would definitely book again.

We enjoyed our stay. House was very unique in its setbup and how it was decorated. The only issue we had was with how high the beds were. It was hard for both my husband and I to get onto them. Once we found the one (out of three) that we could make work for us, it was very comfortable. Also there are 20 steps seperating the top level from the bottom so that was a litte problematic also. Its a beautiful place and would work well for a family who wouldnt have the mobility issues that we as an eldery couple have. Our daughter and her family shared the the house with us and were able to bring their little dog with them which was nice. Pictures do not show how really pretty and spacious the house and property is.
