Stayed Dec 29, 2025We spent the New Years holiday at Salty Bear cabin and had a lovely stay. While the cabin is charmingly rustic, it was not lacking in modern comforts. The heating worked well. Kitchen was well-appointed. Beds were cozy. Shower pressure was strong. Hot tub was perfect. There was one problem that came up at the beginning of our reservation but Renee handled it perfectly and didn’t allow it to ruin our stay. We are very happy with the cabin and just wished we had more time there. We will definitely be back!

Stayed Jul 22, 2025The Salty Bear Cabin is a charming rustic cabin with modern touches. The kitchen was fantastic, featuring high-quality pots and pans, along with all the essentials for cooking and cleaning. The living area was cozy, perfect for the three of us and our energetic dog. We had a blast in the hot tub. The only downside was the bathroom. With only one bathroom downstairs, it was a bit tricky when we had to use it in the middle of the night. Overall, we had a wonderful time at the cabin.

Stayed Jul 6, 2025The day of this stay, my car completely broke down with a total engine failure, waited 2.5 hours for a tow, and had a generally miserable time. My partner and I were instantly relieved upon arriving to the cabin and finding everything exactly as wonderful as advertised. The day after, we enjoyed the hot tub and surrounding area so much, we extended our stay another night.In short, would definitely rent this place again and recommend this for others, particularly romantic couples.
