Vintage Luxury Creekside Cabin ~ King Bed, Hot Tub, Fire Pit & Game Room, Dog Ok

Such a great house! Kids had fun playing in the creek, very well stocked kitchen - everything we needed, game room and bunk room were wonderful! Host communicated well and very responsive, truly enjoyed our time there and would book again!

We really enjoyed our stay in this cabin. We've stayed in many cabins before and this is right up there with the very best. The outside patio area was phenomenal. The cleanliness was great. Kitchen was superb. Could not say more and can't wait to come stay again!

This rental exceeded our expectations. The game room was well equipped and a lot of fun. There were plenty of games but we spent most of our time relaxing in the family room, the hot tub and by the fire. The kitchen was well stocked. The decks were massive and the screened in porch off the dining area was a nice touch. Lake Chatuge is an easy, short drive, as well as the shops in Hiawassee. We will strongly consider renting this property with friends in the future.

We stayed here as a family of 7 for my wife’s 40th birthday. The place is absolutely stunning with character throughout the home. It was clean and all necessities were provided by the great homeowner/host. He made sure we had all we needed and contacted us through messaging to keep up to date on our stay! The creek out back was a blast to play in with the kids and the game room is stellar! We can not wait to come back to this place again!

This is a beautiful home but needs work. One of the main reasons I rented was due to what it said online about cleanliness. I spent the first few days cleaning everything that we would be using. I didn’t know cleaning expect perfect but it was bad. This was on top of the misleading description. This cabin does not have queen beds. Also the beds in the basement are awful. The host said he would reimburse the he cleaning fee which has yet to be done. So disappointed.

We had 6 adults and 1 child. Pleanty of room and great place to just get away and unwind. 40 minute frive to Helen and short drive to Hiawasee and lake. Recommend this property if you just want a place to unwind

Overall the property and house are great. The house is beautiful but could use a little attention. The biggest issue was the beds. All the beds are full beds, not queens as listed. We traveled with my parents and my wife's parents. We let both our parents have the two master bedrooms, my wife and I took the down stairs bedroom. The beds in the basement are visibly sinking in. They were so bad that we opted to sleep in separate beds. When we woke up, unfortunately our parents did not have a better experience. We initially had hoped to stay here for the weekend but booked last minute and could only get it for one night. As we were leaving, we all said how great the place was but we were also happy we were not sleeping there another night. There were a few other little issues like (screen on the porch was punched out, most deadbolts would not lock, ceiling fans on porch work but are very loose and outdated). Again, the house was beautiful and with a few updates it would be perfect but the listing needs to be updated to properly reflect four full beds, not queens.
