Located on a quiet road surrounded by nature is where you’ll find Cabin Sweet Cabin. We are conveniently located 4.5 miles off Route 33 bypass. I also own Golden Bear Lodge in Laurelville, Ohio.
After a long day of exploring all that the Hocking Hills has to offer come back to your cabin sweet cabin and unwind. We offer a fully equipped kitchen to prepare meals for your family. In the evenings enjoy the unobstructed view of the stars while making s’mores or telling stories around the camp fire. If you like stargazing plan your stay during a meteor shower and you’ll be amazed at your view.
Does your vacation schedule include some rain in the forecast My favorite thing to do is sit on the covered front porch and watch the storm go by. However that doesn’t work very long for little ones. The cabin is well stocked with toys and games for kids of all ages. There is also indoor activities for kids in the area.
This is truly a getaway that the whole family can enjoy. While exploring the Hocking Hills we’ve got you covered for the in between times. There is a playground for the kids, high speed internet with wifi for all your devices, and peace and quiet for you... it doesn’t get much better than this!

This beautiful cabin is set back in a peaceful wooded area, with nice natural light entering the home. Plenty of space for our family of nine adults and 5 children. With the playroom full of toys and the outdoor swing-set and toys, pool table, air hockey, hot tub, we didn't need to go elsewhere for entertainment, the children loved it!!! The cabin is fully stocked and if needed to, the stores are not far from the cabin. The owner Elizabeth, was very helpful and prompt when answering my questions. Also, a HUGE Thank You Elizabeth, for allowing us to check in early and offering a late check out. We made some great family memories.at Cabin Sweet Cabin...Thank You!
Had an amazing time at this beautiful cabin. The sound of the birds early in the morning was amazing. The atmosphere was relaxing and needed. A great place to escape the city and all life’s demands and recharge your batteries. I mentioned to the owner that we were celebrating a birthday and she had decorations in the house which was a wonderful surprise. She also shared with us a local nature preserve that wasn’t busy with tourist to go visit. I plan to stay here again.
First impression was not good as the lawn was not mowed and very over grown. The website shows a playground and outdoor fire pit, however with the lawn so over grown it was a bit difficult. The first thing we noticed when we arrived is that three of the five bedrooms did not have blinds to keep out the light. We had to put blankets over the windows so we wouldn't have to wake up with the sun. The ad shows a grill however the propane tanks were empty. In addition there was not a hair dryer. I would like to state that the owner was very responsive and sent someone with propane tanks very quickly and came herself with a newly purchased hairdryer (although it was of very poor quality). This cabin has potential to be a nice rental, but more attention to the details are needed.
The cabin was nice. No lights in part of game room and to cold in basement
This property has got a great, rustic vibe, comfortable beds, a nice sized dining table and 3 couches in the LR. Our large family had space to enjoy our trip to Hocking Hills. Elizabeth was very responsive and helpful during the whole process. The property is a drive from Hocking Hills State Park, but it is very doable. There are other parks that are closer, we enjoyed Cantwell Cliffs too! My grandkids also enjoyed the toys, playground and exploring the hillside out back. The only downsides were dim lighting and the laundry setup wasn't ideal. It is a great property for a large group.
Elizabeth was an absolute joy to work with!! Was extremely accommodating and helpful! I would definitely stay with her again! The house was just as pictured and was lovely inside and very clean. There were 10 teenagers and 2 adults, and it was the perfect home for us! Plenty of beds and all were very comfortable. The kids really enjoyed the pool table and air hockey table downstairs, and the couch down there made it the perfect 'hangout' spot for the kids! The hot tub was definitely a favorite for the kids and adults and was very private. Thank you so much Elizabeth for making your home available to us to that I could create such amazing memories for my kids and all their friends!!
A lot of room to accommodate the 5 couples who went. Big kitchen to prepare dinners in. All the comforts of home. The downtown area of Lancaster was beautiful and only a short 10 minute drive. I recommend the Ale House! Delicious food and a lot of brews to choose from! This cabin would also be great for a family get away as it had a playroom, games and outdoor area for kids.
Property itself is great. It was our birthday and they had it decorated upon our arrival. Plenty of things for the kids to do inside as it rained all weekend. Would stay here again.
From my first encounter with Elizabeth to our experience at the cabin, everything was perfect! Elizabeth is a fantastic and gracious host. My family was gathering from all over the country to honor the 1 year anniversary of my Dad's passing. It was an emotional time, with a great deal of stress leading up to the weekend. Elizabeth made the reservation process easy and was understanding of the emotions surrounding the trip. She even had a gallon of locally made apple cider awaiting our arrival. It was shared and appreciated by all, especially the kids! The cabin is well maintained and very clean. There is a large bathroom on each floor. When you travel with multiple families, this is a must. Despite the rain the entire weekend, we found the layout of the cabin perfect for our needs. Some people were playing cards at the kitchen table, others board games in the living room, and a few downstairs playing pool. It never felt crowded. The cabin is also close enough to town that you can find family activities nearby. If you have little ones, this is the cabin for you! We had an 18-month-old who thoroughly enjoyed the toy room. There was also a baby gate that we kept at the basement stairs. Elizabeth has thought of every detail so you don't have to! The teens loved spending time in the hot tub. They also had enough space to be on their own AND enjoy family time. For our family, the sleeping arrangements worked out well. There is one large bedroom on the first floor, with a door to the outside. The rest of the rooms are upstairs. One bed is in an open area at the top of the stairs and 3 others are private rooms. The beds are super comfy. It was also nice to be able to bring our dogs! There was even an area set up with food bowls. Again, Elizabeth thinks of everything! The best part of this trip was being able to gather with my sisters, my Mom and the rest of the family to celebrate my Dad's life. We toasted to him at meals and felt his presence throughout the weekend. The cabin was the absolute best place for us to gather and honor his life, share memories and make new ones. A big thanks to Elizabeth for making this possible! Cheers, Jenny K
This cabin was more like an actual house! The perfect place for a gathering of family and friends. We found everything we needed and more already stocked in the cabin. The beds were comfortable, and with three full bathrooms, we were never waiting in line to use one! There was plenty of space to visit and relax all together or in smaller groups in various locations. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and air hockey downstairs and the comfortable living area with a large screen TV and large dining table that were both convenient to the spacious kitchen. My only suggestion would be to install some brighter lighting over the stove.
