The cabin was surprisingly clean and beautifully decorated as I have OCD and struggle with having things cleaned so this place was a total blessing.I didn't have to do anything but just enjoy the moment. Thank you all for such a wonderful and pleasant experience. We would definitely recommend this cabin ???

Also, would suggest putting a couple more hooks in the bathroom. No place to hang towels, etc.

Reviewer Comments: We booked from reading reviews on this cabin and words that we were looking for was used by different people. Privacy, quiet, honeymoon cabin, anniversary cabin etc... It was a nice cabin and clean. But it was not what we were expecting. There was a cabin out our front door and from thr deck there was a house down to the right that we could see and a cabin to the left so it was not at all thr privcy that we thought it would be. There was also the main road below the cabin and the road noise was very strong on the weekend and still a lot during the week although it did slow down a bit. So while it was a nice and beautiful cabin we would not choose this cabin again. The staff at Elk Springs Resort were very nice and check in was super easy. So it just depends if you want privacy or not with this one cabin. I did learn to talk with someone in person to ask for such request.

The Forrest view was nice and it was a straight shot to downtown Galtinburg. The bed was very comfortable, we stayed in some days. Definitely would recommend.

The game room in the basement was really fun and definitely came in handy on the days/ nights it was raining so we stayed in. One thing I will say is please remove any visible cobwebs. There were two big ones in the shower area that if I had a swifter wand I would have taken care them myself.

This rental is easy to get to but far enough from the road you can’t see anything and you FEEL like you are out in the middle of nowhere. It was no more than 15 minutes to get to downtown Gatlinburg, making it the perfect home base for our weekend, the hot tub, porch, and other amenities added to the experience and was the perfect way to unwind after a busy day walking downtown.

Parking is tight-there is a cabin right across from this one (not a drawback at all-just to let people know!).

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a series of problems with our cabin that was rented from elk Springs resort. Upon arrival, we could not get into the cabin with the code needed and reached out to customer service. He was able to get us in in a reasonable amount of time. The first night the heat did not work. The maintenance man came out and said it was working, but it was certainly not. They came out again the second day and did get it working. While in the cabin we found that the air hockey table was weird and the puck would not stay on the table. The basketball hoop was missing batteries. The worst of the trip was that after the snowstorm, the property company elk Springs resort basically said that they are not responsible to clean the driveway or property and left us on our own. They offered us to stay another night at an adult reduce straight, but certainly did not offer any solutions on how to get off of the mountain. The driveway was absolutely horrendous to get in and out of the cabin and it should’ve been their responsibility.

We could have easily spent the day just relaxing in the cabin! It was beautiful! The hot tub had been drained and refilled upon arrival so you have peace of mind that it’s been sanitized for you. We will definitely be back.
