The pictures don't do this property justice. It is super cute. It has a great stone wall with gas fireplace and a very large picture window that allows a great view of the park. It is small but was plenty adequate for two couples. The location is great- right across from Glen Lake, close to Sleeping Bear, Glen Arbor and Empire. I would definitely stay here again!

This little house was just perfect for two friends getting away for fall break. It was cozy, warm and the perfect size. Also it is a great location between Glen Arbor, Leland, Suttons Bay, the dunes...everything.

This was a nice location for us and we enjoyed the park and lake across the street. The beds were comfortable and accommodations were comfortable. We liked the location, too.

Great location. Biggest detractor was the bathroom. Shower very small hard to turn around. (We arent large people.) Water seeped up from floor in front of toilet and in front of shower, after showering. General cleanliness was just ok.

We appreciate the old school cottage vibe: pine paneling, geraniums in the window boxes, and comfortable outside seating options. The neighborhood is generally very quiet and it’s a pleasure to hear the birds and wind in the trees. Access to Glen Lake, via the park, is a huge bonus. Pro tip: We bring our own cotton sheets (the house has microfiber sheets), extra bath towels, kitchen towels and washcloths, and even a mattress topper to ensure good sleep (the beds have basic mattresses, no box springs, and creaky metal frames). We’ve figured out how to make this special place work well for us. Thank you! And we intend to return for our 3rd time, soon.Thank you, Heidi!

Amazing location! So close to everything. We enjoyed watching sunsets from the park across from the cabin the most! Just of note the shower is small. Would 100% book here again.

My family, which includes myself, my husband, 3 energetic boys (10, 6, and 10 months) loved this cozy little cabin! We walked to the park and water directly across the street from us to explore and play. At the cabin the boys loved that they had outdoor games, like football and crochet, and inside we played some family rounds of candyland. From a mom's perspective, I loved that this cabin also had an infant packNplay to make bedtime easy for the baby. Checkin was super easy and communication was awesome. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!!

We enjoyed a nice, quiet stay on a beautiful Fall weekend. Our only issue was that the dvd player did not work--power came on but the tray would not open. I'm sure the owners have corrected that issue by now. The owners were very reponsive, especially when we locked a cell phone in the cottage when we were ready to depart--solved in a few minutes via text. We would stay here again.

Came up north to do some shopping, dining and sight seeing. Your cabin provided the perfect location for our day trips. The add was spot on and there were no surprises. The cabin was very clean and cozy. Ended each day with a bonfire and a glass of wine. I would recommend to friends.

Along with being a cozy, spotlessly clean cabin, we found the location to be perfect for easy access to an amazing number of Sleeping Bear hiking trails and gorgeous Lake Michigan beaches. In addition, Glen Arbor, Empire, Leland, and Suttons Bay are all nearby and we never tired of the lovely drives around the peninsula. The cabin and furnishings are so comfortable and cooking meals a breeze in the well stocked kitchen. We also made good use of the outdoor fire pit, while enjoying the nighttime solitude and star-filled sky. In short, we loved everything about this property and communication with Heidi was excellent!

My daughter and I were up for a family reunion nearby. This cabin is well located, and the park across the street has playground equipment and a dock. We even saw the northern lights one night! Definitely would recommend this cabin. Nice property too

My folks live close by, so was ideal to have a place to bring my own family when we came home for a visit. This pleasant cabin was ideally located for us, quiet, and charming in its simplicity. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, with more pots and pans than in other cabins we've rented in the area, deck and patio table, and proximity to the wildflower meadow in the park across the street. We also loved the down slippers, as we had a few cooler mornings during our stay, geraniums, and hammock. We ran out of time to use the fire pit, but with more time, we'd have appreciated that as well. Our only challenge was the queen mattress on the creaky metal frame, which was a little too hard for us grown-ups. We piled extra bedding under the fitted sheet to make it a little more comfortable, and if we rent again, which we would love to do, we may need a memory foam topper (we discussed having one shipped), unless the mattress is upgraded, which would allow us to get better sleep during our annual week off. Our 15 year old was fine on the mattress in the room closest to the bathroom, though. All in all, we had a very enjoyable stay. Thank you so much Heidi and Joachim.
