Stayed Jun 19, 2025Great place for 10-12 guys for a golf weekend. Close enough to Manhattan Beach to walk, short ride to Moonlight Bay. A lot of beds and couches for people to stay. Had a really bad storm and lost electric and water pressure for a while but host was very responsive and got it all fixed eventually. Area by dock was nice sandy bottom and could chill in the water.

Stayed Aug 2, 2024The property was nice. However it would have been nice to know that to get down to the lake from the main level of the house there were 70+ stair steps. This was not reflected in the pictures online or mentioned at all. Loved the kayaks and paddle boat. Kitchen utensils and pans could use an upgrade. We were unable to get tv in basement to work. (I didn’t inform owner). Owner was very nice and responsive to any questions

Stayed Aug 3, 2023We had a fantastic stay at Crosslake (on Trout Lake). We went for a wedding and it was so easy. The house is large enough and has plenty of space to spread out. There was only 6 of us, several working and no issues with WiFi. The rest of the stay we spent mainly down by the dock enjoying the water. We highly recommend the house. I would suggest a car rental, we did not have one and access to taxis and uber were almost non existent.

Stayed Jun 25, 2023We enjoyed our stay at this cabin on beautiful Big Trout Lake. Plenty of room for our group of 15 and wonderfully responsive owner. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat. Be aware that there is a steep stairway down to the lake but it's sturdy and there are railings.
