The patio is the star of the show, not to say the interior is not exactly on piont. Despite the neighbors being close, you still feel like you have privacy and seclusion. The property is excellent. We enjoyed our stay. We would love to return for another getaway. Thank you for the recommendations in Idyllwild. The cabin had everything that we needed. There was nothing lacking. I enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. All of the lights fire tables made it very alluring. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything needed for a vacation. The cabin is beautiful and the neighborhood and neighbors were very nice. We really appreciated all of the safety fences that you have for dogs. We would like to return soon.

The day of our trip we were notified the property we researched and booked was not available and we were being moved last minute to another location. Bags were packed and we were about to leave. We had no real choice but to accept the location swap. It was not as nice as the place we selected. We were given the dome which is the property displayed on their advertisement. While nice, it was not my choice and it messed with me mentally during my stay. I wish they had checked the property for issues the day before our arrival to give us time to cancel our plans or ask for different options.

This house is everything its advertised as and more! Outside: There are more sitting areas than expected. One of the bedrooms (not the master) has a balcony with a swinging chair, cushioned benches, and a gate to fully enclose it in for dogs/small kids. The main deck has access via a door off of the kitchen and main door. There are two firepits, swinging chairs, multiple seating options, and of course the hot tub and spa. There is a very clean, large propane grill here as well and a TV above the kitchen door. There are gates on both entrances to this area as well. They are not as secure as a wooden gate so if your pet is determined to get out they can slide under it. There is an additional third seating area, with another grill and fire pit. Inside: IMMACULATE! All of the beds were comfortable, and the bedding was nice quality (all UGG) in great condition. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with appliances and everything you would need to cook a meal. The house is so well thought out with lighting options, speakers, rainfall shower features, that you feel right at home!The customer service is exceptional. I had issues with the indoor fireplace and outside fire pit so had to call after hours. I honestly expected it to go straight to a voicemail, but an extremely knowledgeable lady answered and was able to walk me through “how to use” the different features. Note: Driveway is extremely steep and there are roughly 15 stairs up to the property.

All attending agreed this place was awesome. It’s flat out beautiful and one of the most homey and designed spaces we’ve ever rented. It felt like a true home rental and not an undercooked investment, from the amenities to the management. We loved cooking in the fully equipped kitchen after a day lounging in the tub and sauna. It was a real luxury experience. Super cozy in the winter and the outdoor spaces made us want to come back to take full advantage in the summer. Small note that the driveway can fit two midsize SUVs in the winter and our third car was parked at the office in town. Beautiful views, convenient drive to town, and comfortable spaces for hanging out with friends.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were originally disappointed when our reservation at Between Two Pines was canceled and we were upgraded to Boulder Bungalow. But after a few hours after settling in and reading the Boulder Bungalow home binder, we really began to appreciate the cabin. You can really tell that the owner builder was an Emmy award-winning designer. Attention to detail everywhere is testament to that award. Small things everywhere like the custom hand railing into the Jacuzzi, bottle openers where ever needed, pretty much whatever you needed was right there where you needed it and then some. We took advantage and made use of all the amenities from the hammock to all the other sitting areas to enjoy all the great views of this beautiful Pine Cove area of Idyllwild. The Cabin is very well-maintained and stocked. We found everything we needed, enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and found everything we needed to prepare our meals. My only question to the executive chef is why an electric cooktop? We recommend Boulder Bungalow to anyone and would gladly return.
