This was easy to get to. The house had plenty of room for two families with a total of 4 adults and 6 kids. The kitchen was well stocked. It was clean and it smelled good when we arrived. We are easy to please and very simple people. My one and only complaint was that there was no propane for the grill. Overall it was a lovely place! It has wonderful views and the deck was great too!
Only negative is kitchen needs update But definitely useable . House was furnished well. Many kitchen utensil and pots and pans, plates ,cups, mugs ,spices well equip kit just need update Plenty of washcloth and towels all in all it fit my need perfectly
This cabin was so much bigger than I anticipated it to be, it almost felt a little spooky with how quiet and how large the property was. Overall, I think this cabin is everything we needed for the weekend. It was clean, organized, and such pretty views.
We got in late and couldn't find lock box. Thought it would be hanging on a door knob. (Where they usually are) The back door appears to be the front door and was all lit up. The front door was completely dark and was where the lock box turned out to be. But the lock box was attached to what appeared to be the main water inlet that was under the steps and hidden in grass. My son finally found it using the light on his iPhone. When we got inside only a couple of lights worked. Kitchen worked, bedrooms, no lights. TV turned on but there is no dish, so no TV. Next day I found there were power strips on the floor and I think two of those were turned on and a couple of lamps lit. Oh yeah, hope you like stairs. Also, no ice trays in the freezer. Who takes ice trays??? Ended up buying my own. (I like my drinks cold) but don't look for them because I took them with me when we left. The cabin looked nice enough but the floors are a roller coaster ride. Nothing is even, level or plumb. Cabinets also had a mind of their own. Little people may be ok with the bathrooms in this place but my son and I are both over 6' 2 tall and go about 250lbs. We had to squeeze in to use the toilets, and the full bath, watch out for your left knee. Mine hit the vanity pretty hard. They also need to lay a few mouse traps. My son saw one the first night but he wasn't sure because we were exhausted from traveling, I however, saw one our last night there. But mice don't bother me that much because it means they don't have rats. I lived in New York for five years and one of the things I learned was mice and rats don't co-habitate. So, mice are good....sort of. I talked with the owner the fist night because we couldn't find the key and I hate to give her a bad review because she seemed like a nice lady. But I gotta tell the truth.
It’s right of the highway and it’s easy to miss the exit.
