Cabin was very nice and fireplace was cozy

We enjoyed everything about this cabin ! Spacious and clean ! All you want out of a get away ! Loved it !

This is actually my fourth year using one of the cabins. This year did not disappoint me. The cabin was beautiful, clean towels were provided by the host.

Great cabin in the woods! Had most of the amenities that we needed and plenty of room for 2 couples. Only negatives were for electrical switches that apparently did nothing...we did not reach out to the contact as it did not interfere with our stay significantly. Deck and chairs could use some repair/cleaning.

I loved the property. I wish we had a hot tub outside like several of the others did.

Did not like the fact of the cabin poping and cracking while trying to sleep.

Amazing setting also a great layout for two couples. Fireplace and deck were great. Liked the vicinity to the Johnny Morris entertainment options. plastic plants could have used dusting and the front porch was kind of a mess. the cars would need to be very small to park 4.

To be honest the home was fine. The two master bedroom setup was nice. However- there are two issues that would keep us from ever coming back. 1. Black ants were all over the bathroom and spotty in other rooms. 2. The noises coming from the home. I am ex-military and a retired police officer. The noises coming from the home kept me awak all three nights. During the day everything was normal, but as soon as the light go out the house comes alive. it wasn’t just the normal noises of houses settling. There was popping and cracking in the walls. The door handles would rattle and there was knocking at the front door and the back door. There were was what seemed like foot steps on the ceiling and in the other rooms. It was unnerving to both my wife and I enough that we slept with the lights on. I slept in a chair in the living room one night with a flashlight trying to figure out what was causing the noises so i could stop them and report them to the owner. It’s easy to fix ants and its not unusual if you live in the country. They try to come in when its hot and it was 90 degrees when we were there. I just don’t know what you would do with the noises. It was beyond creepy. It was if the house was alive. If you aren’t a light sleeper then you probably won’t have an issue.

Very clean, comfortable, and the decor was charming! Fireplace wasn't working properly though. It was hard to get a fire to continue going strong. I think the damper may need to be adjusted. Overall, a beautiful place. Would stay there again!

Great cabin in a great location. It had everything we needed.

This was a fantastic location. Off the beat & path in the woods (which we loved), but only about 10 minutes from downtown Branson.

The cabin was great. Large beds. Spacious rooms. Clean. Well decorated.

Kitchen was stocked well. Large deck,but no view, overgrown trees. For having a cleaning charge check out list was interminable.Host easy to get in touch with.Great decor.Driveway is very steep and tough to fit to midsize suv/trucks.

We had an amazing time. The rental had everything we needed for cooking which was nice. Beatiful view off the back deck. Loved the cute covered bridge as we entered the neighborhood.

It’s fun to go to Branson, but even better to drive away from the crowds to a peaceful setting. We found this property to be as presented and just exactly what we wanted. Having two suites with a comfortable living area was great for two couples. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms clean with plenty of space. Water was nice and hot with great pressure. We stayed three nights, but it seemed we had towels for only two nights. Thankfully there was a washer and dryer, so we just washed them. That is my only negative thought.We did not cook there, but the kitchen appeared well stocked, We drank coffee only. The back porch area was so pleasant in the morning. We did not grill or use the fireplace, but for anyone wanting to, everything was available.We also did not use the pool or common areas, but they appeared neat and well maintained. The cabins are close together, but it was a quiet neighborhood. All in all, we had a great stay and would go back.

Loved the location and especially the back deck. We enjoyed the evening fires in the fireplace. Thank you for providing the firewood. The cabin was cozy, clean, interesting with all the antiques, and a well stocked kitchen. Host is very prompt in responding to any problems. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

We had a wonderful time and the stay didn’t disappoint!

We have stayed at the Elkhorn cabin many times, and it is so comfortable and welcoming. I want to mention how much we appreciate the immediate response we had from Darla when one of the smoke detectors was chirping. She sent someone to take care of it literally within minutes. It’s that kind of service that sets this cabin apart.

The cabin was perfect. It was everything I could have hoped for and more. Very relaxing atmosphere, secluded but no more than 20 mins away from all the attractions of Branson. Plan on visiting again soon.

We rented this cabin to attend a wedding at big Cedar Lodge, which was very close and made this a perfectly located cabin for us.

This was our 2nd time staying. Will be returning again next year.

Nice quiet neighborbood. Clean! We went to a concert and Thunder Ridge is a 30 minute walk away. We sat outside every morning and enjoyed coffee on the deck overlooking the woods. The furniture was comfortable and so were the beds. We will definitely look to stay again in the future.

Property is great, but driveway is small and inclined. We had a minivan and pickup truck and could not park side by side. Had to stagger to make inside doors usable.

My husband and I stayed with my in laws for a quick trip. The cabin is beautiful with comfy beds and a great kitchen. The location is perfect if you want to be near Dogwood Canyon, Top of the Rock, and other hiking but do not want to stay in Branson among the chaos. We will definitely be back!
