Twisted Oak - Charming Cabin Hideaway

We had a great stay in broken bow, and the cabin was exactly what our crew needed. Our boys loved the bunk beds, hot tub, and had endless foosball tournaments!

We’ve stayed at the Twisted Oak Cabin in Broken Bow, Oklahoma multiple times now, and it continues to exceed our expectations every single visit. It has truly become one of our favorite getaway spots — especially for a romantic Valentine’s weekend.From the moment you arrive, you feel completely tucked away from the world. The cabin is perfectly nestled in the woods, offering privacy, peace, and that quiet escape you hope for when booking a retreat.The atmosphere is warm and incredibly cozy. The fireplace sets the perfect mood inside, and the hot tub under the trees is always a highlight — especially in the evenings. It’s the kind of setting that allows you to truly unwind and reconnect.Inside, the cabin has all the necessities you could possibly need. The kitchen is well stocked, the bed is extremely comfortable, and everything is spotless and well maintained. The internet is strong and reliable (which isn’t always the case in wooded areas), making it easy to stay connected if needed.Communication has always been excellent. Check-in is seamless, instructions are clear, and any questions are answered quickly. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into making every stay enjoyable.Twisted Oak feels like a private retreat while still being close enough to enjoy everything Broken Bow and Beavers Bend have to offer. Peaceful mornings, quiet evenings, and beautiful stargazing make it special every time.We’ll definitely be back again — and highly recommend it!

Place is beautiful, although there is currently construction right next door. This was explained in an email on check in instructions but not any of the booking information. Everything was lovely except for the bed and pillows, which the lack of comfort would keep us from coming back.

We had a wonderful time relaxing and visiting state parks.

The house was beautiful , absolutely loved the master bath , and the space was perfect for me and my husband . It’s tucked behind some trees which added a nice bit of privacy even with the big glass doors . The owners were very responsive as well which was very professional and nice :)

Quick weekend getaway. Exactly what I needed.

This cabin felt so big with the vaulted ceilings. The gas fireplaces was a nice touch in the winter months. Everything is clean and fresh throughout. We would definitely stay here again.

This house was located off the main highway in Hochatown, very close to nice restaurants and shops. Super clean property, efficient communication, five stars overall - loved our stay!

Our first time to this area to see the lake and color changes in Eastern Oklahokma. The house was right there at Hochatown so very convenient to everything. This house is about 2.5 miles of rougher dirt roads with potholes so be aware of that. Also, due to the sheer number of homes around this house, the amount of traffic on that dirt road causes a lot of dirt to be stirred up and in many cases, we could not see the car in front of us. Everyone's car has a layer of this fine dirt on it as well as outside porches. The house and area it is in is very pretty woods, but again be aware that on weekends, the majority of the homes are VRBO's so lots of traffic in and out plus new construction. The outside deck area needed the table to be cleaned but the deck area is also nice as it gives you a feel of being really secluded.

Loved the layout of the house. Huge shower and tub. Enjoyed being outside around the fire and relaxing in the hot tub. Great communication with owner.

Family of 5 had a great time! Location was perfect for quick drives to hiking trails, Hochatown and the like. The house feels secluded due to the trees surrounding it which was nice. Girls loved the bunk beds and back porch. The hot tub after long days of hiking was great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were able to relax as if we were home. Will definitely be back!

If you’re looking for peace and quiet and rest and relaxation, look no further than Twisted Oaks. Off the main road about 2 and 1/2 miles seems a bit far until you get there and realize the drive is more than worth it. Nestled in a forest of trees is this beautiful barn-style cabin. Kitchen was loaded with everything you need. Huge bathroom with walk-in shower. Comfortable king size bed. Spent a lot of time on the patio doing steaks on the gas grill and watching the outdoor tv. Weather was perfect. This place is close to everything. Pics don’t do it justice. We hope to be back soon. This is new construction area. Road is a bit ruff. Bring your truck or jeep. cabin.

We stayed for couple of days and thoroughly enjoyed the stay.
