This family cabin is located in the exclusive Goat Rocks Community just minutes east of Packwood, WA. You will find it nestled under a pair of mature maple trees offering shade on warm summer days. Just off the back deck is the trail to the Cowlitz River. If you are lucky, you may see a herd of the famous Packwood elk. Great location, only 20 minutes from White Pass Ski Area for fabulous snow skiing/boarding or snowshoeing. In the summer,15 minutes to the entrance of Mt. Rainier Natl Park orexplore the Gifford Pinchot Natl Forest. A little farther drive, visit Mt. St. Helens, the famous mountain that blew her top in 1980!

Winters in Packwood may get very snowy. It is the guest's responsibility to be properly equipped for harsh winter driving conditions. We do our best to keep our cabins accessible, but winter traction tires and 4-wheel drive may still be required.
