Kitchen: Step into a beautifully remodeled kitchen designed with both style and function in mind. This fully equipped space now features an expanded layout, brand-new quartz countertops, a large central island perfect for prepping meals or gathering around, new appliances, and sleek updated cabinetry. Large windows fill the space with natural light and offer lovely views of the surrounding trees. Coffee lovers will enjoy the cozy coffee bar, complete with a drip coffee maker, Keurig, and grinder so you can savor your favorite brew just the way you like it.

Dining Room: Right next to the kitchen, you'll find the heart of the home—a warm and inviting dining space with a beautiful wooden table set beneath large windows. Whether you're enjoying breakfast bathed in morning sunlight or a candlelit dinner under the stars, the view of the surrounding forest adds a peaceful, scenic backdrop to every meal.

Living Room: Gather in the living room, where modern comfort meets rustic charm. A wood-burning stove keeps you warm on chilly mountain nights, while the Smart TV offers endless entertainment options. The décor brings the room to life, and the plush couch invites you to curl up with a good book or cozy up while watching the snowfall through the stunning floor-to-ceiling windows.

Bedrooms 1 & 2: Downstairs, you’ll find two serene bedrooms designed for restful nights. One features a king-size bed with soft, high-quality linens, while the other offers a cozy queen-size bed- both offering the perfect escape after a day of outdoor adventure. A full bathroom is just down the hall, stocked with fresh towels and all the essentials.

Bedroom 3 (Upstairs): Upstairs has been reconfigured to offer even more versatility and comfort. This large, loft-style bedroom now features two full-size beds and a full-size sleeper sofa, making it ideal for kids, teens, or additional guests. With its own Smart TV and a collection of games, this space is perfect for fun and relaxation. A second full bathroom is also located upstairs for added convenience.

Outdoor Living: Outdoor Living: Step outside onto the spacious deck, where the beauty of the forest surrounds you. Cook up dinner on the BBQ, gather around the gas firepit for an evening under the stars, or enjoy your meals at one of the two outdoor tables. A bar with stools makes it easy to sip your morning coffee or enjoy cocktails in the fresh mountain air. Whether you’re dining al fresco or simply soaking in the view, the deck is a peaceful retreat in itself.

Google and Apple Maps may not take you the right direction to the cabin.

Head East on Hwy 168 until you reach Shaver Lake, then make a right turn on Bretz Mill Rd. Head down Bretz Mill Rd for about a mile, then make a right turn onto Black Oak Way (into Sierra Cedars). Stay on Black Oak Way and the driveway to the cabin will be on the right side of the road. The driveway can sneak up on you, but you are able to see the house up on the hill as you are getting close to it.

Parking: 4 vehicles can comfortably park at this property during summer months. 2-3 vehicles can comfortably park during winter. Please note that this driveway is steep and guests may be required to have 4x4 or tire chains on their vehicle to access the property during snowy months.

Access: A smartlock is on the front door to ensure a smooth and easy check-in process. Guests will receive access codes and other check-in information prior to their arrival.

AC: This house has 3 mini split systems that provide air conditioning. One is located downstairs in the kitchen, one in the queen downstairs bedroom, and one in the upstairs bedroom.

Heating: This house provides central heating as well as a wood burning fireplace. Please understand that heat rises, so upstairs will always stay warmer than downstairs.

Trash: If guests are staying at the property on Sunday nights, please note that our handyman will stop by the property early Monday morning to roll the trash cans down to the street.

Outdoor Furniture: During winter months, the outdoor furniture and BBQ will be put away as the weight of the snow can damage the furniture. We appreciate your understanding!

    This is a great house. Beds are comfy, kitchen is well stocked and easy to cook in. The deck is wonderful, trees beautiful and it is quiet! Communication is excellent.

    This is a very cute charming cabin. Very clean with an adorable coffee nook. Great patio for summer time and short distance to town . Kitchen is stocked with new appliances. Great space for kids upstairs once you put the mattresses on the floor, the springs were noisy . Two great comfortable rooms down stairs. Would rent again . For two adults and 5 18 year old boys …plenty of space
